▪ Frank Gore never knew exactly when he would end up with the Dolphins. But he knew it would happen at some point before his career ended.

I wish we would have picked him up in his 6th yr rather than the 13th. On a side note, I have a friend who coached him in PEE-Wee football. He sad it was ridiculous to see how much talent he had even back then.:thumbsup

Lol. Total Access had a segment tonight on Gore. They predict 700 yds from him.
I'll take 700 yards from him as long as Drake's north of 1200. Keep him fresher and save some wear n tear on his body. I like that he's gonna finish his career with his hometown team.

They are both underrated Martin was most likely better. I remember watching him play for the Jets for all those years with Testaverde at QB.

NFL hall of famers dominating pee-wee football....

In other news, fire is hot and water is wet.......

700 yards from Gore would be huge IMO. I doubt total yards will be the measure. But short yardage for 1st downs -- yea. How about 30 short runs for a 1st down at about an 85% clip?

You nailed it! This offense needs to learn how to stay on the feild, and avoid 3 and outs. If Gore can help us convert 3rd and shorts at high % it would be a game changer.

What I take from this article is according to Akeem Spence the dline will be playing more traditional 4-3 and less wide 9.

D-tackles pushing guards back and DEs setting the edge on the O-tackles.

I'll be very surprised if Gore gets even 600 yards. Our non primary backs don't usually see too many carries, hell sometimes our primary back doesn't see a lot of carries.
Last year only 1 team had 2 HB's reached over 700 rushing yards each and that was the Saints and that was with Alvin Kamara running at 6 yards per carry on only 120 carries.

If he can have 1-3 semi big games for us I'll be happy.
