Frank Middleton

This was a very good signing. He can add some nice depth, and he also can be a guy who will compete for a starting role. So my predictions for the OL will be,

LT-Carey/McIntosh/Alabi

LG-James/McKinney

C-Hadnot/Ephraim

RG-St.Clair/Middleton (will be competing for starting spot)

RT-McDougle/McIntosh/Alabi

I agree. This was great for depth on the O-Line and adds a veteran G who can help mentor the other younger linemen. If the Fins add a top CB to their roster, I'd say that this looks like a playoff-contending group, with the exception of QB, which can't really fix at this time.

I don't want this to be a slam against either Frerotte or Feeley, because who knows, they might be surprise, but can you imagine what we could do if we had a top flight QB behind this line, with Brown (When finally signed) and Ricky, Chambers, Booker, and Boston at WR, and McMike at TE this offense could really be scary. Great job with these aquisitions Nick and Randy.

KB can Damion play guard ??

Which one?

I believe both Damion McIntosh and Damion Cook could play guard if needed. Guard is the easiest of the line positions to play.

I can't stand this guy, he is a cheap shot artist but you guys will love him b/c he had a big feud w/ the Jets a few years ago and I'm sure will carry it over. he was very good w/ the Raiders, I'm not sure what he has left but it's worth a shot.

I hope Middleton walks straight onto the practice field and b*tch slaps mcKinney and Whitley. Then Saban dumps them both with yesterday's trash. Those two along with Donald "I'm allergic to pigskin" Lee are like the Three Stooges. When they get cut (its just a matter of time) I think our collective pallete will have been cleansed of the foul taste of the Dave "one-dimensional gameplan" Wannstedt and Rick "trigger finger on the panic button" Spielman regime. Good Riddance ladies. Hope you paid attention in college, cuz' your about to enter the real world.

You need to keep them around for cheap depth.

I was thinking we could use the tackling dummies or the single man sleds in their place for depth as either piece of equipment is more athletic and better at blocking than Whiffley or McKinney
