Wouldn't it be nice to have a head coach who could find an OC to make him.

Takes a degree of competence to hire good assistants in the first place that Flores doesn't have.

Shula benefited from Arnsbarger. Says something that Pederson hired a great coach.

Most of the time the assistants do make the HC. I mean Flores's assistants are sure making him.
Pederson lost more than Reich. He also lost John DiFilippo to the Vikings. Jim Schwartz also decided to step away. There were a lot of bad tensions in Philly between Pederson, Lurie, and Roseman. Pederson has the experience and network to build a good staff. I also believe is his offensive style of play fits well with Tua's abilities.

Reich definitley helped Pederson but the drop off didn't start until the Eagles OL resembled the Fins as did the WR core to last years end of season wideouts

Reich could end up getting fired after this season. Hire Peterson as the HC and he can hire Reich as his OC. Problem solved.
