just a little cattywampus
Shamrock dominated round 1 but lost a point for punches to the back of the head.
had the ref not stopped and separated them at that point Baroni was pretty close to done. he had eaten a bunch of punches standing up and on the ground already, and been guillotined til i thought he was out, i was surprised how long Mazzaggati let it go.
Round 2, Baroni had shaken off the cobwebs and was doing much better, landing several stiff punches, but not really any combination. they traded for awhile with Shamrock landing often too, he Baroni actually shook Shamrock up pretty good to the point he did TWO ridiculous little pirhouettes on separate occassions after being punched in the face. neither time did Baroni follow up though.
Shamrock had effective knees and leg kicks throughout, and with about 1:25 to go in round got Baroni's back and put Baroni to sleep with a rear naked choke, as he tauntingly told him he would while they were circling each other during round 1.
pretty entertaining fight...
