Is it possible for him to improve? I dont know how kickers develop. Is it something that can improve with time or is it something you have or not?

Well he is only a sophomore in the league now. I thought for sure that 55yd FG would get blocked or fall well short. Good thing for his sake because I think after that miss he cemented his exit with Miami next season. Now it's back to let's see if he can build on this and maybe get him competition next year.

That was as clutch as it gets, with that said he needs to be more consistent

I thought he had no chance. And what a ballsy call. Might be the move of the year. Because I sure wouldn't have done it. Rizzi rushing them in the field...

like it or not, franks won that game. Dude made the kick when it mattered. Not even mad right now. Merry Xmas. WOWOWOWOWOOOSOSKJFdoikajfoiawu3904u2qojfnsdkjfn

I always give the dude a hard, time.. Not after this game. He is still Franksenstein to me though lol.
Good Job Andrew Franks!

Incredible bounce back by franks. I think running him out there with no timeout to think about it helped him. Good for him

I really thought he had no chance at all. Then he kicked it and I thought it was gonna be 10 yards short. Boy was I wrong!

Sturgis looks a lot less shaky these days, so I think yes they get better.

Unbelievable he made that. If he didn't, the coaches and DW would have looked pretty bad. I'll take it. YES!!!

If they can work with him and strengthen his leg I think he earned that opportunity after the clutch kicks today. I never thought i would be saying this about him since his leg seems weak. He is accurate on PAT's just not field goals.

Stop listening to these commentators who say Franks can't kick long. They are just looking at the stats. Franks is a good long kick but has had few opportunities to show it because Gase generally prefers to get closer or go for a TD.
Remember Franks got the job ahead of Caleb Sturgis because he was better at the long kicks.

I bumped one of my old threads just to toss his ass under the bus but alas....CROW FOR Christmas Dinner and it tastes delicious

He has made 1 long kick in his career. I would still cut him 2moro and find a kicker we can trust

Huge kick today, but I just dont trust him
