Daniel Mogollon, of NFLDraftBible.com, reports Florida Atlantic LB Frantz Joseph will have a private workout with the Miami Dolphins April 10.

This guy was awesome for FAU and is a local product. He is good in coverage and fills gaps well. Can I say tackling machine. He is projected as an ILB a position Miami might want to address around the 4th round of this draft. Below is a little video:

Not to pat myself on the back, but I was the 1st person on this site to mention Frantz Joseph and how good he could be. He was in my mock back in January. He just has instincts for the game that you can not teach. Strength and speed is not always the best way to measure a player and he is exactly why. I think he could start on our team his rookie year.

good find, he looks like a bigger Zach Thomas to me

I would be stoked if we drafted him

First and only time I seen this guy play was in the Motor City Bowl and he was very impressive. Have seen a couple of highlights here and there since then and the guy is just a pure gamer. Wild at times but coaching should be able to sort that.

One thing that worries me though is that with his stck rising, I dunno if he will be there in the 7th. Fins may need to trade up if they want him.

the 7th?

I bet he goes in the 4th at least

yea, theres no chance Frantz makes it to the 7th, hes a mid rounder and is going to be a fight between Frantz Jospeh, Scott McKillop, and Jasper Brinkley to come off the board first. all 3 of them could go late 3rd to early 5th IMO.

I hope we pick whichever one is there with our 4th.

I see us drafting in this order OLB, CB, DT and ILB, TE, G and WR

It's hard to say what order we will draft until there are players being taken and we can see what is on the board. As much as BP apparently hates drafting WRs, I still think we grab one with one of the first 4 picks. And I would think we will pick up a T before a G, because we have plenty of interior linemen right now. (Satele, Smiley, Berger, Grove, Thomas, Murphy, etc.) The backups at T are Garner and Brandon Frye.

Crazy how the draft works. In early Febuary he was projected as going 7th by some sites and now hes up there with the likes of Brinkley and McKillop. Personelly I would think he goes mid 5th round which is why I was saying Fins may have to draft up to get him or reach in the 4th round.

Interesting that they're having him in for a look like the day after they have in Rey Maualuga and Clay Matthews.

It suggests that they're trying to take a look at these guys closer to one another so they can keep a fresher basis for comparison...decide whether or not they should go with one of the USC guys at #25, or someone like Frantz Joseph or Jason Williams later on.

I don't think that has much to do with it.

You can bet your house that Miami will draft two or more linebackers regardless. This is Parcells here, in a linebacker heavy draft, and he is building a 3-4 defense after building the lines last year. He loves linebackers and you need a lot of good ones who can do a lot of things to make a 3-4 Defense work the way he wants it to.... See the Steelers.

We're getting up there but my top 20 is starting to settle in a little bit. I'm still waiting to hear about some more UDFA types that we might haul in. A year ago I think I had the Dolphins sign something like 6 of my 20 players.

Right now, put a gun to my head, I'm thinking...

CB Darius Butler, CB Sean Smith, S/CB Sherrod Martin, FS Chip Vaughn, OLB Paul Kruger, OLB Lawrence Sidbury, OLB Cody Brown, ILB Rey Maualuga, ILB/OLB Clay Matthews, ILB Jason Williams, ILB Frantz Joseph, ILB Cyrus Mulitalo, QB Tom Brandstater, RB Cedric Peerman, WR Dominique Edison, WR Johnny Knox, WR Dudley Guice, DT Khalif Mitchell, TE Dan Gronkowski.

Disclaimer: Not necessarily guys I love. Guys I think they might take.

I don't know if its how anything works

every draft it comes down to the 6th and 7th rounds and the guys we "know" and want are still available but not being picked. the draft would only cease to be crazy if we really knew what the NFL personnel thought

the kid is talented and his on the field resume has been there for 3 months(there for the NFL people). I would bet that the Irelands and the Polians never had a 7th round grade on him. unless we can watch tape like CKP or Mayock all we have to go on is what is out there on the web

I think Brandstater might be a good QB in the league. Really underrated.
