I thought teams were pretty high on the FAU product. I really thought we'd draft him late. He's still available as a FA. Anybody have any info on him?
 
This was a lousy class of MLB's apparently. All of them dropped from where the so called experts had them listed. D Beckwith from LSU who was rated as the second or third best MLB on most boards was not drafted either. Joseph recieved a lot of attention IMO because teams needing a MLB were desperately looking for someone/anyone in this class to fill that hole and no one knew a lot about him so they figured to give him a shot. Turns out he was not much of a prospect either.

I am thinking he failed a drug test or interviewed poorly or both, because he DOES have talent.
