I sure didnt see this one coming......Not much talk about our FB position.
Fred Beasley is a veteran FB playing for a bad team. A solid blocker opening holes for Brown can only be a good thing. Look at what it did for Tomlinson and Alexander (Neal and Strong)
Here are some stats on Beasley for those who dont know him.

Its hard to draw conclusions for stats on a FB. He is much better than Konrad, and can pass block very well.
I like this move for the following reasons:
1)DOES NOT BREAK THE BANK
2)Makes us stronger in an area we can thrive on, the running game. Makes teams respect our run and therefore our pass attack improves.
3)Do not have to rely on a second HB (Williams if hes back) to pass block.
4)The Play Action Pass becomes more respectable with a FB that can block and pass.
