the Miami Herald and the South Florida Sun-Sentinel both have it on their websites, and I saw on the bottom line of ESPN the night we was signed (they did confirm it on ESPNEWS)...sorry, that was a few days ago, so I cant tech. prove it...

ESPN and NFL Network dont like the dolphins so they dont give us any info other than the obvious but they praise kickers going to certain teams as if that is the move that puts them over the top! he he he. We fly under the radar alot. And thats a good thing.

ESPN is too busy thinking up stupid catch phrases like "Kobe drives and slams the booyah in da big house, holla dawg" than to report any real news. I blame Chris Berman for starting it with his stupid nicknames.

It was on the ticker of the bottom of the ESPNNEWS the day we signed him, but it wasn't until later that we signed him, so it wasn't on there for long. I just know that cause that is how I learned about it.

Dolphins sign Beasley

Unrestricted free agent fullback Fred Beasley, who had spent his previous eight seasons in the NFL with the San Francisco 49ers, has signed a one-year contract with the Miami Dolphins, ESPN.com has learned.

One of the best lead-blockers in the league, Beasley, 31, was named to the Pro Bowl squad in 2004. The former Auburn standout is a solid receiver, an excellent pass protector, and should provide the Dolphins a strong presence in the locker room as well.

Beasley has carried 183 times for 610 yards and eight touchdowns in his career. He also has 133 catches for 1,017 yards and five touchdowns. Although still a productive player, Beasley fell out of favor last year with the staff of first-year coach Mike Nolan.

I LOVE this move. He will be the first REAL FB Miami has had in a while.
