Ronnie Brown will have about 1,450 yard this season. That was a good pick up.But we should have signed him for 3 years. Also I do not think we will be getting lavar arrington.

They can always re-sign him later, why you think no Lavar Arrington:confused:

i love beasly ... sabanis jump starting our offense an hes a Defensive master mind so lets see how this works to

Signing him to only a 1 year deal seems like normal Saban MO. He is coming of a couple of not so stellar years with injuries and fall out with SF organization from what I understand. Also the FB that is in the Navy Eckles(?) might be available next year if is obligation is up and I thought people were pretty high on him.

I think this is a good pickup and if he becomes the beast he was previously, then I am sure he will be rewarded with a longer contract.

That may be why he was only signed for one year. Eckel is supposed to be real solid, Beasley might be a placeholder for him.

Probably because the 'Phins now have that much less cap space?

If the signing were meant to reflect that, I would think Saban more likely would have signed someone like Ahman Green, who could spell/start in case of injury to RB.
