Fred Gibson

well...he did what we all wanted Aromashadu or vick to do. That's what it takes to be a football player, gotta make the plays no one else is making.
 
Yea he definetly did his thing, but man he must of really fell down the depth chart . . I thought he was higher than that. He came in when Berlin came in, 4th string . . I thought I would see him work with Cleo at least. Hell even a guy named Willis I have never heard of before got more early burn and scored a TD.

also, did anyone see vicks two catches and kickoff return?

Gibson was cut by the Steelers. Cowher didn't like him at all. We picked him up just before the season last year and put him on our practice squad
 
Vick's sorta got a long stride when he runs..
 
I ddidn't even know he was still on the team he is so unnoticed. He showed some ballhawking ability tonight, I was very impressed. It would be a shame if he is completely lost in the shuffle because he has talent and should be given a fair share.

hmmm....Wasnt he actually like a 4th round pick that they cut? Def showed some promise coming out of college last yr I think, maybe we found a diamond in the rough!

Yeah. Cowher just didn't like his attitude.
 
Fred was cut by the Steelers. I believe they wanted to sign him to the practice squad but he chose to sign with the Dolphins.
 
How did Russell Look?

I listened to the game, but didn't get to watch it. I heard Cliff dropped a couple, but them seemed to settle down.

Did Gobson look much better than Russell?

Also, what did you think the problem was for Hagan today? Were the balls off target, was it his routes, his hands?

Russell wasn't too bad but he needed to be absolutely flawless to even have a chance at making the team. He does have some talent though.

Wow, its pretty rare for a team to cut a 3rd round pick unless their name is Maurice Clarrett :D
