Couldn't be farther. I was searching through NFLDraftcountdown.com and saw Fred Russell on the Archives rankings and thought "Hey, what happened to that guy."

ya i was actually thinking the same thing the other day, but you know how pple are on here so i was just asking...:)
 
I saw him in the Hall of Fame game a few weeks back. I forgot how little he is. He looked like a 10 year old out there playing against the big boys.

I was just about to say, "He's still on our team, changed his name to KayJay Harris". :lol:

While extremely different players, they are the same in that they were both undrafted for a reason, but yet for some reason everyone around here gets a hard on for them and think that they are going to be the next great thing in the NFL. Every year it's somebody......

Were Priest Holmes and Dominic Rhodes also undrafted for a reason? :shakeno:
 
I wanted Russell to make the team last year, but he was on the bears then he got cut.

Absolutely!!!!! It's not to say that the reason is ALWAYS a good one....but yes, there must have been reasons that 32 teams passed on them 7 times each.

I never said that undrafted free agents don't make it in the NFL, but look at the % who do vs. the % that don't.

They are longshots by definition, yet every pre-season there are guys who swear that these undrafted free agents are the greatest thing ever.
