Free Agency Breaking News- NFL - Breaking News Thread 2025 Offseason

Possibly. But if he stays healthy and that's a big if. Why would Miami pass up a chance to restock the shelves with what could be a boat load of future draft capital; from a team looking to move up, to take one on those QB's.

If Tua stays healthy they don’t get that high of pick. I’d agree I just see no scenario where Tua plays and they get near a top 5 pick.

Offense should be a top 5 unit unless tyreek is moved and that’s looking far less likely post draft.

Defense even with moving Ramsey which seems imminent, I really don’t think the secondary is much worse than last year. Names will be far less identifiable but the fact is holland and poyer both had career down years, I’d even say Ramsey had a career down year although he has a very high ledge to step down from. Other than that it’s the same opposite corner in duck/kader as fuller missed half the year. I also think people are sleeping on Artie burns. The front 7 should be much improved with the return of Philips and Chubb.

I don’t know if I’d bet on them making the playoffs but with Tua all year I don’t see how they win under 7 games which likely puts us in the 10-12 range

This is a really good point. Holland`s play was ok, but not good enough for us to consider paying him. Poyer was abysmal. Fuller was released 1 season into his deal. Ramsey may have had his worst year as a pro. The names in our secondary aren`t sexy, but the bar isn`t very high to match last year, especially in light of the DL reinforcements coming.

It actually be two thirds. One in 2026 and another in 2027. But I'm not sure I'd want him to leave, especially after leading the 2024 defense to a #4 ranking. If he duplicates that ranking or anything similar with less talented, but younger players. I'd offer him the HC job in Miami and give McDaniel his walking papers.
I hope he continues to coach our defense for a few years. We pay a ton of money.

I almost shed tears of joy when Ingold announced Jonah Savaiinaea. And, I'm too old to be letting emotions get away from me like that.
Have you seen Welcome to Wrexam? That show got me a few times.

I’d rather keep him. I’m tired of switching dc’s every year. We finally found one that’s good, no 3rd round pick is going to contribute more than that
It seems inevitable, though. He'll get an HC job within the next two cycles.

I'm no soccer fan at all, but after just now perusing an overview of the show, I'm intrigued and will try to find time to start watching it soon.

I'm still trying to get over the fact that Miami did not recognize his worth.
All I kept hearing was he and his wife wanted to get back closer to home. I'm sure money could have changed that, but who knows what the deal was? I had a hard time when I lived in Miami from 04-06. I would have probably dealt with it better if I was a millionaire.
