Free Agency to start on Saturday?

This is getting old......

Now the league is asking Upshaw if free agency can start on Saturday at 12:01 AM!

Are we ever going to get shopping?
 
it has been confirmed that it will start Saturday.

Doesn't really bother me. Because the CBA is done.
 
i really dont care as long as the cba wouldve gotten done and it did
 
It only gives brees time to get into miami on saturday to start the FA season off with a bang anyways.
 
Saturday isn't such a bad thing

A) It gives teams time to understand and prepare for the new cap.
B) We can still sign Mawae and Adams before Saturday because they were cut. So we could have possibly two signings before Saturday. IMO I think we will at least have one of those players signed before Saturday.
 
Friday would have been better, but Saturday will work....as long as we get Brees.

you know i was really gettin mad at them pushing it back and pushing it back but they did get the cba done and i take all the bad things back i said about the owners and upshaw
 
I don't care that it got pushed back, the teams do need the extra time to get ready tho I'm sure that Nick is set to go.

It starts at 12:01am on FRIDAY!!!! It hasn't been officially made that it is going to get pusjed back another day, just speculation.

Ok, I HATE to play devil's advocate here! I want Drew here as much as ANYONE. But, the question has to be asked, is there ANY CHANCE AT ALL now with this new $$, that San Diego calls Brees' agent and wants to discuss an extension and keeping him in a Chargers Uniform?
