Ok, so suppose you can sign only 1 big name free agent and all of the guys listed below hit the market. Which would you choose and why?

Antonio Bryant (WR)
Vince Wilfork (NT)
Casey Hampton (NT)
Karlos Dansby (ILB)
Barret Rudd (ILB)

Personally, I would have to go with Vince Wilfork, because he is a young, dominating NT. He is only 26 or 27, so he could fill the shoes of a 3-4 NT for 5+ seasons.

Dansby would be a close second though. Ultimately though, a big space eating NT is vital to a successful 3-4 scheme.

I think Ruud is a RFA but i could be wrong. But i would definitely go with Wilfork, that would make our whole defense better.

I'm not sure. I just listed the guys I could think of right off the top of my head.

And is it Ruud or Rudd?

if I had to pick only one it would be Wilfork, a great NT is much harder to find than a great LB. Dansby would be second in that group, I believe ILB is the biggest need on the team. Ruud and Hampton would be second choices to those two. Bryant had issues with both Parcells in Dallas and Nolan in SF so I doubt he will come to Miami

NFL.com has it listed as Ruud.

i will take him, spelling of the name doesn't matter he still better than crowder

i will also go after bryant, and wilfork, and if not ruud, dansby, if we could at least get 3 big names we will be in good shape

From what I've heard, Parcells and Bryant resolved their issues, but I'm not sure.

Hampton...comes from a better defense in my opinion...and I hate Wilfork as much as he hates Miami. He has said on many occasions that he would never play for the Phins b/c he grew up in Miami hating them.

Awful lot to ask... But if you could go after only 1, you would go after Ruud?? Hmmm. I think Dansby is the better choice. Especially since Dansby already plays in the 3-4 and Ruud doesn't.

I would take the rec. I can get LB in the draft and Wilfork is not that good he's getting old we were able to run the ball on him

Hampton is 32
Wilfork is either 26 or 27

I think that's an easy choice. Also, earlier in the year, Wilfork said he'd love to come to Miami because it was back home and he would definitely do it depending on what the best option for him and his family was.

Antonio Bryant IMO isnt a huge name out there i would love to see him in miami next year though but out of all those i would have to go with Wilfork

I don't think he's that great either, but I know a lot of people really like him, so I put him up there.

i agree he is a good player i just dont think out of those names besides Casey Hampton that he would really be considered a big name player if we picked him up
