Alex Mack? He's under contract until 2023 per Spotrac. Pretty old (37) but would be a good stop gap if he gets released for some crazy reason.Think the 49ers C is a FA too

That would leave San Fran with 2 centers that both were Dolphins in the pastAlex Mack? He's under contract until 2023 per Spotrac. Pretty old (37) but would be a good stop gap if he gets released for some crazy reason.
Would that be your only addition? In this scenario I'd still like to bring in an upgrade at center (Ben Jones/Brian Allen) and RT (probably still Morgan Moses). I don't trust Dieter at C or Eich at RT, Let them battle it out with Ajax for LG in this scenario. If it’s free agency go after Eric fisher 2 years up to $30 mil you will have a solid plan a left tackle in house.
Id say 2 and 24 but this markets fittin to be nuts.
Buy yourself time. The draft options none of the kids you got a shot at do you want as plan a’s out the gate.
He is a good option as a player, that's just a lot of money and a premium asset used up. A premium asset I was hoping we could either draft or trade for a receiving threat. Maybe I'm being greedy though, I do want a line and a couple receivers this offseason. What about Tunsil ?
Haven't heard much about him lately but was hearing that ,
His contract could keep some teams from trading for him, but there were some sources that believed the Texans would be willing to pay some of his salary to get a deal done.
Tunsil's scheduled to make $17.85 million in 2022 ($10 million fully guaranteed) and $18.5 million in 2023.
We'd most likely give our 29th which would be fine with me but any addition though could be a deal breaker. Consider a 3rd ?????????????
Good OT at a good price and a little more dinero for Fa'cy. Just a thought or another option to consider

I don't think your being greedy but more possibly unrealistic. I think as far as all the info we get is expressing the FO as still and rightly so indicating significant money spent on OL and is far overdue and also extremely critical for us achieving any success. In witch case a Tunsil, Pro bowl LT is gotten with the added benefit of a very good price considering the other options the FO is looking at.He is a good option as a player, that's just a lot of money and a premium asset used up. I hear what your saying but at that point you have to ask yourself if you want to go after a premium OT is Terron Armstead at a projected $23.9M/yr and keeping your first round pick worth more than Tunsil at $18M and you give up your first? If those were my options I keep my first. Personally though, I go back to the thinking that we must resolve both OT positions and Center in FA and that much money tied up into one position hurts our chances to do so.I don't think your being greedy but more possibly unrealistic. We should be also in the market for a nice FA WR, given our cap space and a potential Tunsil price, #29 which OL won't be there for us even near Tunsil quality. Also see the Bengals in the picture with need and their 30 pk being considered. The question is what more the Texans would ask for ?
In this free agency period we have several quality options to move on to. Tunsil price could actually add to that FA options.
After 2 decades and where we've been at it is CLEARLY the time to actuaklly focus and get a quality OL, IMO is Priority #1
I could get behind this I just would also add on a center. I don't trust Dieter and I am pessimistic that Linderbaum would fall to 29.I’ll still maintain Miami should trade for Andre Dillard at left tackle primary but if that’s off the table these are the next best options and fixing ot is miamis run away primary need.
You come away with Eric fisher at left and Trent brown at right you gonna feel real damn good about yourself going into camp at tackle witb the position being “fixed” for the short term at least. Question is how you gonna feel come the bye week with brown primary if attrition kicks in. Like I said though still a chance I take.
Spend the money on the tackle position. Eich compete at left guard or dump. Austin jackson left tackle or left guard (plan a left guard for me right now) Jesse Davis if he does come back active versatile depth not plan a or top 7 even.
Eichs the one that is way too stiff to play tackle and lacks strength at guard to date
Don’t add any more dudes that don’t have tackle feet and foot quickness for gods sakes. Folks wonder why the pass pro sucks these guys can’t play in space at tackle cause they lack the physical tools
