If you look at Andy Reid etc you see a stable coach on a stable team with a stable F.O.

It is clear that this place is
dysfunctional.

One semi surprising thing is how much even us fans are at each other's throats already.

We missed out on recruiting Kyle Orton, but succeeded in recruiting some other talented players, eg Bush, Burnett, Columbo... Missing out on Orton doesn't mean that the team is dysfunctional.

Not sure I agree. They have pretty much got who they want when they offered contracts. According to Schefter, Miami never made a formal offer for Orton because the process never got that far.

Burnett, Colombo, Fields and Taylor didn't seem to have a problem with coming here. Also, Bush had to re-do his contract for the trade with the Saints to take place. He did it, no questions asked.

It has been reported several times agents are steering clients away from the Dolphins.

Actually, Orton isn't a FA (he's Denver's property)

You show the money....they will come play.....in Miami or in Hell or in Mongolia or in.....

The offensive lines has too many holes for the amount of attention they put into it..
defense is set at this point id think about trading one of our defensive studs for a real QB
I think we can e and 8 xpect a win lose win lose season henne gets benched a few times
the new guys get roughed up maybe we trade bush for romo in a desperation move in week 4

No...actually wanting Orton makes us dysfunctional...

and steering them towards seattle.....lots of confidence going on there. how bout steering them towards Ravens or Steelers? I havent seen many going there. I see resigns and cuts

First of all I think anyone can hardly call Burnett and Columbo "impact" pickups. Bottom line is that this team has not looked good in the front office. I do not think that anyone in the world did not believe that we needed help in two key areas this year. QB and RB. We passed on some highly rated talent in the draft and in FA. So now our improved offensive hope lies on Chad Henne at QB, and Reggie Bush and a later round rookie. Bush is injury prone and has not proven to be an every play back and the rookie is unproven. So what have we really done to solve our problems and fulfill Ross' mandate to be a more wide open team? I think the poster has a point.
