Free Agents do not want to play for a Lame Duck HC

Ok, I searched on their website during that time frame. No results. I searched in Google with a wide variety of different wording to get a hit, nothing. Any other suggestions where I can find at least one of these "several" reports that are out there?

Twitter, MySpace or Facebook I know it is out there you and I debated it. I don't know why you guys take everything so personal? It is standard practice for agents to warn clients away from teams with front office turmoil, financial problems, small matket, coaching drama, etc. You should have heard Browns fans when the plain dealer printed a article confirming agents were steering clients away.

tony has went from Soprano to Serrano ham

I dont want have to say i told ya so after the loses start piling up
then the homers will be left with little to say like buball and henne
need more time..

It is almost like they are not improving the qb spot on purpose like trying to prove a point
that they can win it with defense and a good run game and field goals...
They point to the ravens and bucs superbowls like see they did it so can we..

The playoffs last year all the QBs were decent the worst qb was sanchez ..

Nothing personal, I was just curious to where you saw these reports, that apparently were mentioned "several" times. Still though, I have failed to find one.

As I stated in another thread the Eagles had more funds available because they didn't have any high ticket items on offense. McCoy, Macklin and Jackson are on rookie contracts. Vick signed cheap after coming out of prison. Until the Eagles sign Ronnie Brown, McCoy was the only non-rookie running back on the roster. The Eagles payroll for their offense is the lowest in the league and there's nobody even close.

Yet in the past you have admitted we debated that. Guess you will have to start researching your 24,643 post. See ya next week ;-)

First of all I think anyone can hardly call Burnett and Columbo "impact" pickups. Bottom line is that this team has not looked good in the front office. I do not think that anyone in the world did not believe that we needed help in two key areas this year. QB and RB. We passed on some highly rated talent in the draft and in FA. So now our improved offensive hope lies on Chad Henne at QB, and Reggie Bush and a later round rookie. Bush is injury prone and has not proven to be an every play back and the rookie is unproven. So what have we really done to solve our problems and fulfill Ross' mandate to be a more wide open team? I think the poster has a point.

OK where to begin?

Burnett is an upgrade. Alot of people wanted Crowder gone and now he is with his upgrade. If you think this move is not good, there is no sense in really continuing with you....but i will wast it..
Second, what the hell do you know about colombo? I mean, you watch cowboy games now? No you dont. Your opine is based on the neg nilly's here who sing in constant concert. We need more guys who are better and experienced than what we have now. Colombo fits the bill. Sparano knows him. Works for me. Now G spot solved with Carey moved inside.

They tried to get Williams, then Bradshaw, and then they went Bush. What the fuk do you expect these guys to do??????? they are not rabbit *** pullers!!!!got it? hardheaded bithses is all we have around here.

So we get JT back as a backup passrusher in our already great D. There was always that possibility to me in my mind. Excellent move! Cheap and JT is a leader.

Draft, you forgot to mention our second round pickRB in Thomas. You think RB's have to have a big name to be successfull, but every year at least five guys come through the woodwork who were complete no names, so once again, hardheaders dont know what they are even friggin talkin about! And if this kid from Montana hits as a seventh rounder, will you or anyone give this regime credit? no of course you wont. You will have moved on to wait til henne has his balls dropped by mr. disorder who can do nothing wrong! which blows my friggin mind!!!

im done. wastin time

This thread is merely a reflection of the doubt and skepticism the persist out there. And the quarterback thing. Just venting from 15 years of wondering in the desert looking for a pigskin leader.

sporano is not a lame duck, he will be here next year, i got new andy reid is a lame duck, i live in philly and they hate him because he has not gotten them a super bowl, so the team went out and got all those players and they are not going to win it again this year and andy will be shown the door, most of philly wants him out

The offensive lines has too many holes for the amount of attention they put into it..
defense is set at this point id think about trading one of our defensive studs for a real QB
I think we can e and 8 xpect a win lose win lose season henne gets benched a few times
the new guys get roughed up maybe we trade bush for romo in a desperation move in week 4

I could not disagree with you more. I think they improved their line by moving Carey to Guard and bringing in Columbo to RT. Gives Jerry more time to develop along with some other O Line. Upgraded from last year. While I agree that QB is the biggest question mark and I have hope that maybe Henne will prosper with a New OC as Henning totally handcuffed him. Lets give him a chance and if he stink bombs us this year, pull the pin because the fish will implode with another coaching upheavel (God I hope not as this is not the answer).

I do not get our fans sometime. I remember sitting in the stands watching Dan Marino playing and listen to fish fans booing him demanding a trade (season ticket holder since 1980)., I turned around telling him that he will be sorry the day Dan retires. Reminds me of the fans booing Henne, we need to support our team not mentally dismantle them before the season starts.

What makes my stomach turn is thinking we chose Culpepper over Brees! What would our conversations be today if we picked the right QB! Just a thought

It's the same people in every thread stirring up the negativity.
