As I try to do each and every year, here is a look at some potential free agent that I would like the team to look at or whom I think they may look at. Remember I am not saying they will sign them all, just possibilities with brief comments on each. They will be in A-Z order. It is long but I hope you think it is worth it.

Here we go:

Stacy Andrews - OL - 6'7 342 lbs. 27 yrs.
He is a mauler with some pass protection skills. Will probably cost considerable $$$ unless his late season injury affects that. Would be worth a look as a G or RT. Has the size the Trifecta likes also.

Nnamdi Asomugha - CB - 6'2 210lbs. 27 yrs.
He is arguably the best corner in the business but lets be realistic, he probably never hits the market. If he does I think he is worth the money it would take to get him. Has the size that they like and tackles well.

OJ Atogwe - FS - 5'11 210lbs. 27yrs.
On the list because I knew it would get brought up if I left him off. I am not a big fan however and don't think he would be worth the big contract. Probably never hits the market either.

Miles Austin - WR - 6'3 216lbs 24 yrs.
On the list because Parcells drafted him. Not sold on him as a top notch guy but could play special teams and be a 3rd or 4th WR. Keep an eye on him. Does have some size and speed too.

Khalif Barnes - OL - 6'5 325lbs 26 yrs.
This kid if signed could play G or RT. If he plays one Carey could play the other if resigned. Biggest question is if he can keep his head on right. Has had some character issues in the past. Might cost more that we are willing to spend as he can play both Tackle spots ala Carey.

Eric Barton - LB - 6'2 245lbs 31yrs.
Might be too old, but does have experience in the 3-4 and has decent size.

Yeremiah Bell - SS - 6'0 205lbs. 30 yrs.
You all know him and we need him back. Enough said.

Atari Bigby - SS - 5'11 213lbs 27 yrs.
Not a big name and has had tendency to give up big play but might be worth a look at the right price.

Darryl Blackstock - LB - 6'3 255lbs 25yrs.
Had more hype last year but has the size that trifecta likes and is still young. Worth a look IMO but depends on his demands. He would probably be a situational guy.

Keith Brookings - LB - 6'2 241lbs 33yrs.
Too old I know, but he has experience in the 3-4 as an ILB and if we draft someone and let Crowder walk he could be a stop gap. Has been steady throughout his career.

Antonio Bryant - WR - 6'1 205lbs 27yrs.
Probably won't even get a look because of his past relationship with Parcells but could upgrade our WR corps is he keeps his head on straight.
May cost too much though.

Phillip Buchanan - CB - 5'11 186lbs. 28yrs.
The former U player had a good year this past year and is good on ST. Might be a little undersized thought for the trifecta's liking.

Kevin Burnett - LB - 6'3 242lbs 26yrs.
A Parcells guy that has the size he likes and would be affordable. Not spectacular though, more of a steady guy.

Chris Canty - DE - 6'7 304lbs. 26yrs.
Another Parcells guys. Would probably depend if Vonnie Holliday comes back. If he signs I think Holliday will be gone. I am guessing he ends up here.

Vernon Carey - OL - 6'5 350lbs 27yrs.
Would like to see him back. Hope they work it out.

Michael Clayton - WR - 6'4 215lbs. 26yrs.
I know he has underachieved the last 3 years but the kid does have size. Might be worth a look as a 3-4.

Nick Cole - OG - 6'0 350lbs. 24yrs.
A Mauler to put at G. Gotta love the size of this kid and a low center of gravity.

Channing Crowder - LB - 6'2 250lbs. 25yrs.
I am a little torn on Crowder. He always seems like he is joking around and injury concerns are a negative. He is young though and has been pretty good.

Angelo Crowell - LB - 6'1 246lbs 27 yrs.
A good player who is underrated. Could be a great option and would take him away from a divisional foe. HAHA!

Karlos Dansby - LB - 6'4 250lbs 27yrs.
This kid flat out makes plays. I would love to have him but at what cost. Could be the top LB on the market and he will get paid like it too!

Andra Davis - LB - 6'1 250lbs. 30yrs.
Underrated player who has pretty good size and skills. Could be a viable option as an ILB if Crowder isn't resigned. Has experience in the 3-4 also.

Malcom Floyd - WR - 6'5 225lbs 27yrs.
Had a coming out a little this year and I love this kids size. Also plays ST. He is a RFA though so it would depend what we have to give up.

George Foster - OL - 6'5 338 lbs. 28yrs.
Can play either T as a backup or I would like to see him moved to G. I think he would be nasty as a G. Has the size and nasty streak. One downfall though, he tends to False Start a lil too often. Might be better as a G as he would be closer to the ball?

Jabar Gaffney - WR - 6'1 200lbs. 28 yrs.
Not the best out there but could give us a little boost. May not be the best option but one to consider. Atleast we would take away from the Patsies.

Andre Goodman - CB - 5'10 190lbs. 30yrs.
Debate all you want but he played solid down the stretch for us and came up with some big plays. I would love to see him back if not as a starter then a nickel.

Jordan Gross - OL - 6'4 305lbs. 28yrs.
May not hit market and if he does will be spendy as he plays both T spots.
Probably out of our price range.

Joselio Hansen - CB - 5'9 185lbs. 27yrs.
Small but does a good job as a nickel or dime back. Wouldn't mind seeing him in a fins uni.

Albert Haynesworth - DT - 6'6 320lbs. 27yrs.
I don't think he hits the market and will be really spendy if he does. I question 2 things with him though. Does he play this good in a non contract year and how does he fit the 3-4. He has always played in a 4-3.

Devery Henderson - WR - 5'11 200lbs 26yrs.
A young burner with questionable hands at times. That said, he could be a good option as a game breaker.

Renaldo Hill - FS - 5'11 205lbs 30 yrs.
Wouldn't mind seeing him back but not if we have to break the bank.

Reynaldo Hill - CB - 5'11 185lbs 26yrs.
I remember when this guy was an up and comer and a potential Shut down corner. His biggest problem is staying healthy. I would like to see us give him a shot.

TJ Houshmandzadeh - WR - 6'1 199lbs. 31yrs.
If he hits the market would be our clear #1 guy if he signed. Age is my biggest concern other than money.

Sam Hurd - WR - 6'2 205lbs 23yrs.
Young and was drafted by Parcells. Could have potential and plays ST.

Brandon Jacobs - RB - 6'4 264lbs. 26yrs.
I know we will never sign him but I like the guy. He is a monster when healthy. Can you imagine him and Ronnie being a 1-2 Punch. Ricky isn't going to play forever.

Michael Jenkins - WR - 6'5 215lbs 26yrs.
The former OSU star had a pretty good year and you can't teach size. He is still young too. Has the potential to be the next Ernest Wilford though.

Chris Kemoeatu - G - 6'3 344lbs 26yrs.
He is a RFA but if you don't have to give up anything but a late rounder you sign this kid. He is a true mauler with a mean streak.

Jim Leonhard - SS - 5'8 186lbs. 26yrs.
Doesn't have great size but does have a knack for finding the ball. Played well in Baltimore this year. A great special teamer as well.

Ray Lewis - LB - 6'1 250lbs 33yrs.
Flat out, I would love to see Ray in a Fins Uni. Won't happen but I would love it. I love the guys passion for the game and he is a true leader. I know he is old, but we could draft a replacement and Ray will be great for the next 3-4 years. He make everyone around him better.

Justin Miller - CB - 5'10 196lbs 24yrs.
This kid is still only 24 and would instantly improve our Kick return unit. He can also be a dime back and has speed to burn. The kid is great with the ball in his hands.

Lance Moore - WR - 5'9 190lbs. 25yrs.
He is a RFA but I would give up a late rounder for him. He has great hands and runs great routes. Think of it as Pennington to Moore would be about like Pennington to Chrebet was.

Igor Ohlshansky - DE - 6'6 309lbs 26yrs.
Has played DE in 3-4 his entire career and you have to love the name. LOL! He is steady not spectacular but does have the size and makeup to play in our system and is young.

Julius Peppers - DE - 6'7 283lbs. 29yrs.
This kid is an animal when motivated and I think Sparano could do that. Would take huge money but he would be a beast as an OLB in our system. I would like to see it but we are only going to have enough room for 1-2 big names this offseason I am afraid. I am also going to guess that Peppers doesn't hit the market.

Dunta Robinson - CB - 5'10 184lbs. 26yrs.
Outside of Asomugha he is the best CB available IMO. Just so he can stay healthy but he is a little undersized.

Bo Scaife - TE - 6'3 249lbs 28yrs.
Probably won't sign another TE, atleast not of this calibur. I have heard some of you say to move Martin to a WR spot and this would allow that. We would be big to say the least.

Bart Scott - LB - 6'2 240lbs. 28yrs.
I am still not sold on him. Remember Ed Hartwell, once he left Baltimore he vanished. Playing next to Ray and Suggs helps them out a ton and having Ed Reed, Heck the Whole Baltimore D helping always can cover up flaws. He is a good LB, I just don't know if he is elite like some are hyping him to be.

Gerald Sensabaugh - SS - 6'0 204lbs 25yrs.
This kid can cover and hit. What more do you want from your SS. Would rather have Bell back but he would be a secondary choice.

Takeo Spikes - LB - 6'2 242lbs. 32yrs.
Would be a stop gap option if we let Crowder walk to draft a replacement. Has experience in the 3-4 and was very productive last year.

Darren Sproles - RB - 5'6 181lbs. 25yrs.
Kick Returner and Put him as an option in the Wild Cat ala Ricky. Could be very dangerous. Would like him very much.

Max Starks - OL - 6'8 345lbs. 27
Is a big man that can play the T or G. May be too spendy but is a mauler and been on winning teams so brings that winning attitude.

Terrell Suggs - OLB - 6'3 260 lbs. 26yrs.
To me this guy is priority #1 for us this offseason. Put him opposite Porter and let them go. He is proven in the 3-4 and is young and has great size. When Porter is gone we will have Wake to replace him and we will have a great duo for years to come. Sign him ASAP IMO!! I love this guys motor.

Jonathan Vilma - LB - 6'1 230lbs 26yrs.
This kid is productive everytime he steps on the field and is still young. He will re-sign with New Orleans IMO but would be worth a look. He hasn't played in the 3-4 so could be risky from that aspect. Neither had Crowder til we switched and he was ok and I think Vilma has more natural talent than Crowder. JMO Tho.

Gabe Watson - DT - 6'3 332lbs. 25yrs.
I loved this kid since he was coming out. I kept saying we should have drafted him but everyone disagreed with me at the time. Atleast in person they did. He would be our stopper in the middle for years to come. He is a RFA however so we would have to give up compensation. Depends what we have to give up.

Eugene Wilson - FS - 5'10 195lbs. 28yrs.
I have always liked his ability to hit people and his coverage skills are above average. Would like to see him starting with Bell in the Secondary next year.

I hope everyone enjoyed this post. I try to do this every year. I know it is lengthy but I enjoy it and I hope it helps people out. I know there are a lot of other guys out there but I try and pick and choose the best I can as to who fits and who the best are. Feel free to comment and add anyone that you think I may have missed. Thanks!

Leigh Bodden - CB - 6'1 193lbs. 27yrs.
Just saw that he was cut by the Lions. Never fit their Zone scheme but is a good Man to Man Corner. Has good size. Probably the 3rd best CB on the market behind Asomugha and Robinson.

JMO Tho.
Vilma played in the 3-4 for the Jets. They traded him because he couldnt play ILB in a 3-4. Although, as a Canes fan too, I would like Vilma on the team.

Dude my reply is nothing personal i liked the post, my answers are short and to the point on how i feel about our chances or our want, but of course none of us know. but good post man

Thanks for the feedback. I always like others input that is why i do this. Like I said, we can't sign them all, I am just looking at possible targets. If we sign a Suggs or Peppers then a lot of the big names have to come off as we will be getting tight against the cap after signing one of them.

OJ Atogwe - FS - 5'11 210lbs. 27yrs.
No didn't resign with St. Louis but he could be franchised.

Reynaldo Hill - CB - 5'11 185lbs 26yrs.
With All do Respect he was hurt last year.

Dunta Robinson - CB - 5'10 184lbs. 26yrs.
Updates say that with the Texans waiving Greenwood and Green they may be making a pitch to resign him and keep him off the market

Atari Bigby - SS - 5'11 213lbs 27 yrs.
Not a big name and has had tendency to give up big play but might be worth a look at the right price.

Was on the practice squad 3 years ago. GO KNIGHTS!!!
