Tommy maddox-Mar 8 Jason Cole and Armando Salguero, of the Miami Herald, report free agent QB Tommy Maddox (Steelers) might draw some interest from the Miami Dolphins. Maddox is a great admirer of new Dolphins offensive coordinator Mike Mularkey from when Mularkey held the same job with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Sam Adams- Mar 9 Alex Marvez, of the Sun-Sentinel, reports free agent DT Sam Adams (Bills) concluded a two-day visit with the Miami Dolphins on Wednesday, March 8. "(Adams) did like the trip and is interested," said Adams' agent, Angelo Wright. "He felt the team has a strong commitment to winning, which is attractive to him."
Drew Brees-Mar 6 Jim Trotter, of the San Diego Union-Tribune, reports chances are slim anything will happen between the San Diego Chargers and free-agent-to-be QB Drew Brees before free agency begins. Brees now has to wait a few extra days before he can talk with other teams. While the Chargers could still sign him to a new deal before then, it does not appear likely.
Terrel Owens-Mar 9 Les Bowen, of the Philadelphia Daily News, reports presumably the Philadelphia Eagles' deadline for paying a roster bonus to WR Terrell Owens is now sometime early next week, but Owens' release could come sooner. The Kansas City Chiefs seem to be emerging as his most likely destination.

While the Dolphins do have interest, Ramsey's only planned visit is with the New York Jets, the source said.
