If he goes to the redskins, he is coming back for the money, in which case we are better off without him.

If he goes there they better spend their cap space on WRs and a better TE than Fred Davis. Oh yeah, offensive line needs a ton of help too. Good luck to him.

Welcome Matt Flynn

Honestly, if we don't sign him, I wouldn't be upset if he went to the Skins..That means we can go after RGIII and the Skins won't drive the price of that pick way up..I really don't want to see us getting into a bidding war for that RGIII pick and give up multiple 1 and 2nd round picks

I dont understand why he would want to play against his brother 2 times a year. But hey it is what it is.

If Peyton is after Superbowls I say good luck dueling it out against the likes of Rodgers, Brees, Eli, Stafford, etc. in the playoffs. It's gonna take a hell of a run just to make it to the dance.

Up until a few days ago, Miami was the main team for Manning - this might be the Manning camp evening things out for negotiating purposes.

who knows? Ross is on a mission to solve this QB issue. I have a feeling he's going to be throwing a ton of cash his way. Don't count him out.

Who is everyone Freeman talks to? Just wondering.

Out of all the teams who are rumored to be after manning (phins, cards, jets, redskins, 49ers) the skins are the farthest from winning. They have no receivers, no running back, a poor offensive line, all they have is a decent defense. I personally think it will be the last place on his list and this freeman clown has been known for being wrong all the time.

We don't even know if Manning will be cut yet or not. Speculation at its finest.

For some reason Washington appears to be pretty decent under the 2012 cap and can well afford to throw 10-12 million at him up front. If it does happen, Peyton to Washington Peyton will be on IR before the seasons end, their Oline blows.

IMO, no way the Colts pay Manning the mega bucks due him in March. Now, if somehow Irsay gets out his knee pads and gets down in front of Peyton and convinces him to take a huge pay cut, then maybe.

I read this as Redskins will try to sign him. Not that Peyton will sign with them.
