Freeman: Everyone I speak to in the NFL says Manning to Redskins

Out of all the teams who are rumored to be after manning (phins, cards, jets, redskins, 49ers) the skins are the farthest from winning. They have no receivers, no running back, a poor offensive line, all they have is a decent defense. I personally think it will be the last place on his list and this freeman clown has been known for being wrong all the time.

I was waiting for the " since this information doesn't support what I want, clearly the writer is an idiot and is always wrong" response.

We can't believe any of this speculation at this point. Just cause loudmouths want to guess and predict stuff doesn't mean squat.

whatevers. dude knows that he'll get plenty of attention if he makes it appear that there is more than miami in the mix. now you got 2 fanbases reading his ****ty articles.

Gentlemen you have heard of throwing darts at board. That's what all these reporters do hoping something will stick so they can say they were first to break the news.I don't even think Peyton knows where he is going or how things will pan out .There will be more that 100 reports of 10 teams that Manning will be going too in the next 4 weeks just sit back and wait

These guys are usually wrong. This is just speculation at its finest.

For the last time, manning is NOT going to the redskins. He is NOT playing Eli twice a year. Ralph Vacciano, giants beat writer who wrote a book with Eli said part of the reason Eli didn't want to go to San Diego was so he wasn't in the same conference as Peyton. But now he's gonna go to a team in the same division. The only way he goes to skins is if he has no other options. Dolphins can offer better team and weather and he has a condo in Miami and his wife likes Miami.

Here we go again (Fisher), everyone is in the know, but dont know. We have options no matter what. Just have to do our due diligence and make sure its the soundest one.

As I pointed out previously, lack of offensive assets and divisional competition with his bro notwithstanding, Kyle Shanahan, the HC's little boy is a control freak/micro manager where everything has to be exactly scripted his way. Can anyone perceive Peyton inserting himself into that kind of environment unless Kyle steps down (and how likely is that?)

no way dolphins will be his landing spot ....the redskins please they stink have no weapons outside of moss

It's all speculation and presumption. "Everyone" is pretty broad and general term. What if he's talked to two ball boys and an assistant special teams coach? Regardless, he's currently on Indy and hasn't talked to anyone outside of his organization (tampering rules). So how could anyone really know where he is going (assuming he doesn't stay in Indy?)? They don't. Prepare yourselves for many more weeks of this drama until Indy decides what to do with him and (if cut) once he starts to talk to other teams. Until then, nobody knows squat.

The huge silver lining in Manning going to DC is that it immediately removes one of our direct competitors in the QB market. As well as a team that is ahead of us in the Draft. This lowers the market value of all other options including draftable QB's such as RG3 and Tannehill. If Shanahan is going to sign Manning he will use his pick to give him a weapon such as Blackmon or O line help.

I really hope the Dolphins just go after Matt Flynn. Won't cost as much as Peyton, will be a longer term QB, and won't cost as much as RGIII.

Peyton is just way too unsafe a bet, and waiting until the draft for RGIII is taking a huge risk if you miss out on him.
