Im sure we've all thought this at one point. Is it convenient that our struggling quarterback suddenly hurts himself while everyone is clamoring to put Rosenfels in? Is this an easy way for Saban to "mix up" team chemistry, using an injury as an excuse to put in our backup and see if we can finally win games?
Lets not forget the last time a genius coach (belichick) sat his starter due to an injury. Some no named kid came in and won them a superbowl. Granted, they were a great team. We're a bit far from that.
Im not saying that the finger injury doesnt exist. He hurt his finger for sure. But is it enough to sideline a QB, especially against a team like Cleveland? We've seen other QBs tape it up and go, and he hasnt even picked up a football yet.
Did Saban tell him to milk the injury? To not bother tossing around a football, and is this his way of finally trying another QB other then Gus? Because if it doesnt work, he can still put Gus in without the shame of sitting him because he's bad. Ya know? Sort of sidestepping the reason he wouldnt take Gus out to begin with.
What do you think?
