I'm not putting him the pro bowl or anything, i'm just saying he put us in a position to win. He made one critical error, forcing the ball to booker, thats it, and now he sux:shakeno: Gus plays an agressive style of offense, he's not afraid to gun it down field. Will he miss some of those, yes, but some he won't. I was impressed with his play yesterday. He showed guts and composure, and a very live arm. I for one am behind him 100% Go ahead bash away, i don't care.

One mistake? mmmmkay..

One thing I must say though, is that thus far, his mistakes do not come at crucial times. ie at ends of games..

Still, he doesnt double clutch the ball and stare down Booker, and we have 7 and probably win the game...

I keep thinking of the play when Brown saved his hide with a great block, he side stepped a throw a completed pass.

Last year that would have been 6 for the other team!

I saw some highlights from the game and I saw some really nice, accurate passes. A few nice deep balls too, the deep ball does so much for a team when you can cut the field in half on one play. Bad INT in the redzone though, and it seemed like he just threw his other 2 INTs up there and they got picked off. One thing I must say though, is I'd rahter his INTs come when we're going for the big play deep, theres a lot of margin for error there, instead of the classic Fieldler or Feeley INT to the linebacker who is 10 yds off the line, when goin to the TE.

as i stated that was a lethal mistake, seeing ronnie swung out to left all alone was killing me!!

but if it were AJ, he would have done it.......on our 20 yard line and give the other team 6. I think the play call was to blame more than the throw. We should have run it one more time before throwing.

I like Frerotte.

So do I. I was not completely enamored with him, but I thought he was the best thing we had......Now, I think he has control of this offense for sure. I think Linehan has to cut down on some of the passing and start running the ball with authority when we start doing so. With Ricky here now, this should defenitely be on the agenda. Then get Ricky/Ronnie going in different directions on the pass. Yeah Baby!

and that he was .. he was wide open if he would have just dropped it out to the flat it would have been 7 points no questions asked

that was one hell of a block. I thought for a second that Gus was gnna et his helmet knocked off and we were gonna see AJ? Sage?

He was dead meat if Brown did not get him!

i think the fins made a mistake by making him throw that many times on the Bills secondary. he made some GREAT throws. but im sure the fins game plan called for a lot more R. Brown than Gus.

but at the same time, i think a little credit is do the Bills for forcing that change.

I think Gus has done a lot more than what we have expected from him. I see alot of these Gus sucks threads and stuff like that and my only question is who else is better that we have or can get? Gus had one BAD pick and that was the pass to Booker. The bomb to Chambers that hung in the air didnt matter, it was either a sack and 4th down or throw a bomb and hope no different than punting the ball.

Gus has done ok, I dont know what people expect to see? Peyton Manning or something I guess.

I think your right, intially the bills had 8 or 9 or more in the box determined not to let ronnie get loose
