why? He hasnt done anything to lose the job

When the O-line protects, he plays like a starter

I do. This offense is really starting to click, he is no Peyton Manning, but he can get us where we need to be if he continues to play well... while we groom a young QB of course.

And if he is? Im sure you will be here to let us all know why he is sucks so bad and is so inaccurate that he hits CC on the run and scores TD's. 128 passer rating against SD on the road. Give it up Death. We will use Gus til we find the future OK? And Sage aint the future, as much as I love Sage the humanitarian.
 
Yep give gus time and he will find his WR

He also has thrown more TD's than INT's

so you cant even make a case for that

Mcnair is beat up. I admire his talent and perserverance, but the dude has been beat up over the years. I dont think we will look to the future with him.

id take mcnair if he was available but I doubt he will be

he can throw, he plays like a leader and has a ton of heart.

Gus is Gus!! When he has time, boy can he wing that ball around. I'd rather see him start next year, with a true QB of the future behind him, then another journeyman QB who is trying to revive his career. We've gone down that road, including with gus, and it's not the answer. I'm actually to the point where threads that are started about diamond in the rough QB's don't interest me anymore.
 
Gus is like an angel compared to the pile of crap Feeley.

That being said, Gus is a pile of crap compared to anyone we are looking at in the first round of this years draft imo.

Gus has played pretty well and I dont see the reason why we should sign any other washed up veteran over playing Gus. With Gus we know what we are getting and he knows the offense. Bringing in another vet will hault the process of our offense gelling, gus and our receivers are really getting things rolling. Keep Gus until we have a young good qb who can be our guy for years to come.
 
Gus hasnt been playing that bad as of late at least he has double digits touchdowns and might even have a 3,000 yard passing season something i tought would never happen but it could but we should draft a qb in ther 1st round and compete with gus and sage.

THIS I do agree with. If we get Kitna or McNair, it would be a lateral move. We need an exciting prospect.
