friday afternoon update/Camp photos

This was one of the best parts of the article
Formerly AWOL DT Manny Wright seems to be in a much better place mentally and more mature. He admitted to using some counseling but is not on any medication. Wright said the birth of his 2-month old son, Manny Jr., has helped to put things into perspective. Wright said he knows the players will be watching to see how committed he is. Cameron said Wright was the first person in the building the day off-season conditioning started. Wright said he's not in ideal shape and appeared to be at least 10 pound heavier than the 345 he said he was

The 10 pounds heavy doesn't really bother me at this point because a man that size could lose it the first week or so of training camp in July.

great news!! Lemon stinks i knew it

I dont know if you have heard, but Culpepper is injured and might never see the field as a Dolphin QB again. We have two QBs Lemon and Hamden, I think we are all praying we get Green and another QB in the draft.

Actually, we have NOT heard that CPep will never see the field as a QB for the Fins. Do you have a link ?? We all know he's injured and that the surgery in November was more serious than Nick-the-Liar said, but other than that, all we've heard is that they expect him to be able to compete...??

When asked will you be ready for Sept. Culpepper said all i know is i'll play when Healthy. You have to be kidding me, the guys knows he is injured pretty bad and doesnt even know if he will ever start again, and you want that as our starting QB. Ill take the old fart in Green then a QB with injury problems and please dont give me the concussion excuse.

Key word in there is "might". And that is a strong possibility that has to be anticipated, if the staff doesn't I would be very disappointed. I know I wouldn't put my future on a QB that may or may not be the man. So yes, we need a vet and draft a guy.

oh yes we did hear it . this morning somone in the media said daunte was limping pretty bad. but with anything else we cant rule out anything. my prayers are with culpepper for a speedyer recovery.

- Daunte Culpepper (knee), Andre Goodman (shoulder), Marty Booker (excused personal reason) Keith Traylor (rest) were out of the afternoon practice;

- Same starters, with Chris Chambers and Marty Booker at the receiver spots. Taylor was back in his usual spot;

Was Marty there or not?
