Well That was my first trip to that stadium....I was very impressed with the stadium and the staff. I was joking around with most of them before the game. Now inside the stadium, we were let in at 6, there were a few players from Mia warming up. Cleo Lemon was running pass patterns with I believe Gibson. Of course the kickers came out and started the punting and FG drills.

Miami players starting comming out and a few of the Carl players. Culpepper was out there kinda early, He was warming up with some of the many asst. coaches and McMicheal was out there. I was down in the corner 5 rows up and was watching the Panthers players start comming out a few at a time. I had'nt noticed but Chambers was doing his stretches and Steve Smith came over. They spent about 10 mins talking as Smith squatted down beside him. They seemed like best friends. I snapped a few pics of that. The rest of the team headed out on the field and Pepper was throwing the ball strong. Everyone thinks he has a limp. NO. He does not have a limp at all. Saban and Fox were taking before the game and I was surprised at how short and thin Saban is.

We better get that man some food, quick. Well as for the game, sorry I took awhile to get to the main part. I went there expecting to see a tight def game. That's what we got. Carl. seemed to struggle with the zone blitz packages that we threw at them. Taylor was lining up all over the place before the snap then moving to his end position but the look the Qb seen made Delhomme make some bad reads. He changed a few plays before the snap and again the different looks were giving the Lineman fits. We seemed to play alot of the zones and and blitz few. Guys Do'nt keep beating up Allen. His first play he lined up against Keyshaun. I was going OMG...here we go. But they ran.

Then he was in coverage against him most of the night. He did a good job for someone thats been in camp as short a time as he had. He is being tested by Saban and he is saying , If your that good prove it to me. He is trying. The def packages that we have are not a pice of cake. Miami did well on Def early to have had Welker to fumble that early. The other DB number 20 was awful. He let mr 3rd wr Carter toast him. He was holding and getting to the ball too early for pass interference. He was getting an earful on the sidelines. The Off in the 1st half was the story of Culpepper having time for crossing patterns and the TE being a big part of the Off and Ronnie Brown not waiting for blocks.

Culpepper first, He is great in the middle of the field, his size really is an advantage for looking across the middle. But as for his sideline timing patterns there needs to be better timing. He short hopped a few. And guess what else we have a QB that can QB sneak. I was so excited to see that. I thought they should have doen that again at the goal-line. But when the O-line does'nt block no one would have gotten in. Chambers is a Wr God right now. He is going to be talked about with Harrison,Johnson, and Smiths this yr. What hands on the sidleine catch. And the Pass Interference from what I seen thats a ticky tack call. I was dis-pleased with the choice of not going for the TD the second time. I was thinking Saban is into winning the game on the scoreboard. I wanted him to go for it. I am a homer. Listen guys look at the stats. Our 1st team vs theirs. We beat them on both sides of the ball last night. We just did'nt take advantage of our opp. 2xs within the Opps 2 and we come away with 3 points. Now for the stinker of the night. Not-So-Special teams. They over-ran their lanes. We fumble. We couldn't tackle them. Made me think that we might be forgeting about this unit as a whole.

How many times do Special teams decide games. The great coaches spend alot of time in this area. This past week I don't think we did. I would hate to think that we need tacklers on this unit but we cannot go into the yr doing this. Second Half ....I was surprised to see C-Pep not out there, I was being Greedy. But Harrington is a good backup for us. He worked with the first unit against their 2nd unit d-line but their starters in the sec. He moved the team well and I think is an asset to the team. We have a BAck-up in case we need one. God Forbid. Harrington did look at his primary Wr alot but they were open alot too. Chambers made the juggling catch and that got the fans quite in there. But when Marcus Vick came out his first time to return a punt he got booed, i mean really loudly. He is quick on his feet. He will make a nice pickup on the practice squad. A few more notes......Matt Roth..came to play someone lite a fire under his butt he was very quick off the ball. Hagens got into a kicking match off camera witha backup Carl DB. When the cuts happen..We wont have the 2 punters and 2 Ks there...Mare and Jones look solid. Sorry this is a long write -up but I had a good time. We were proud to be wearing the Phins gear at the stadium along with the other 5 or 6 thousand with us. Be proud of our team.......THEY are going in the right direction......:dolphins:

Bro I think you will get more comments and posts about your post, but it needs to be broken up into a few paragraphs so it is easier on the eyes.

Special teams, Ronnie Brown, and the offensive lines were the only dissapointments in that game, as well as Fred Gibson dropping that wideopen laser that Joey threw to him that would've been a TD. I was @ the game and everything looked tight aside from those 3 things. For those of you who think that we have the answer at RB and need no more depth at that position, you're out of your minds. Ronnie is going to take a BEATING this year. He won't play all 16 games if he has to keep up at this pace.

Pst. This year's Chicken Little is Jason Allen. Update your posts accordingly.

Good post...bet the game was awesome...I for one was very happy with the first teamers on both sides of the ball.......by far the best game we have played IMO no matter what the score.

Are you sure you're not talking about #25 Will Allen? If I remember correctly, he was covering Keyshawn Johnson at the beginning of the game, not #32 Jason Allen.

Yeah, it was a ticky tack call. The defender initiated contact. Chambers was shoving back. Should have been 6.

Yeah, me too. But we all would have been dis-pleased if we were stuffed again. And it was good practice for Mare.

The coaches were taking a look at a few different players this week. That was not necessarily our starters on special teams on the field during that return for a TD.

The starting QB will sometimes play the 1st drive of the 2nd half. But Harrington benefitted from the reps more than Culpepper would have.

Very good at what? He's stinking up the stadiums so far, but at least there is one positive, he says that he stunk when he started with Tennessee and turned it around. Being a Gators fan, I never saw the guy do anything special, but I won't say that I'm not a little biased. He's not a 1st round player though.

Absolutely. If if Tillman starts the season, Allen will take his place sometime before December.

Awesome? Yes, on his catch and that pass he threw, running the ball he stunk. Not all his fault, but he can't always be let off the hook. People make so many excuses for him and Jason Allen, it's ludacris.

[mod] Completely uncalled for. Read the TOS. [/mod]

i cant fathom how people can call someone a bust before the season has even started, i truely do not understand how someone can think like that.
