dang it he is a pretty good player!!! But he never stayed healthy.

Has the be the biggest bust in the second round for us in the era of Dolphins I have been following. Can't believe he is that bad we can't even get a conditional 7th rounder for him.

yeah same story as in college. i wonder what wannestedt was thinking. Oh yeah i forgot he doesn't think. what a wasted pick. :fire:

I originally had thought there Eddie Moore would make this squad and be a suitable backup for Seau and possibly even Spragan if Pope doesn't make the team. I figure it came down to Derrick Pope and Eddie Moore and that AT LEAST one of them would make this team... I honestly thought it would be Moore but it's starting to look more and more like he's a goner. Being undersized and constantly unable to stay healthy are the two things that hurt him the most.

more evidence that last season may have been the best thing for this franchise. Could handle a few more years of this insanity?

he was a good player in college, only missed one game

i still think we should keep him. He is a good player when he is not hurt! He just needs to have a season he can play the whole year!

That's 2 2nd rd picks Wanny and Rick wasted - given the Feeley trade and Moore pick - no wonder we are low on talent. Think we could have used a DB or OL with those picks? Let the house cleaning continue!

Wasted 1st on Fletcher; Wasted 2nd on Moore; Wasted 2nd on Feeley; Wasted 3rd on Gordon; 2 number 1's for a running back who walked out on us, and isn't even our current starter. All within the last 3 years or so, a franchise simply can't recover that quickly from that type of incompetence.

no, thats 3.

Wanny also gave NE our 2004 2nd round pick in exchange for their 2003 3rd round pick. We used the 3rd round pick on Wade Smith. They used our 2nd round pick to get Corey Dillon.

how do we know he's a good player when he's not hurt when he's been hurt his first two years?

saban is like wildfire. hes cleansing our beloved franchise of all the stagnant destructive picks and blunders that wanny condemed us to. thank you nick. itll be painful but itll be worth it.

he did play a few games last year and did OK. But, a few games out of a 2 year span (more than 2 years if you include his limited play this training camp) just isnt worth the roster spot he takes up.
He would have been a wasted pick in the 5th or 6th round where most experts had him projected. Wanny, in his infinate wisdom chose to take him in the 2nd.
