Seriously doubt Chicago knew all the details, if any at all ... may have heard lawyer say his wife was clocked by a stray bottle, details came out later & are still trickling. Saying they knew is spin-doctor damage control ... or they would have said it from the beginning to mitigate the damage.

My hunch ... ongoing negotiations ... Miami wanted more ... Chicago had an offer on the table for two 3rd Rounders ... Dolphins heard of incident, called up & accepted. Who knows, but it does explain everything. A wiser Chicago would have waited a few days to hear the details before accepting ... PANTSED!! lol
