From Someone Long In The Tooth

My earliest memory in life, not just football but in life, was as a little kid in December of 1974....The Sea of Hands game. The Dolphin dynasty ended in the final seconds against Oakland in the playoffs. I started crying and my mom let me open an early Christmas present which was a Dolphins cap.

So my earliest memory in life is having my heart broken by the Dolphins. And while there has been numerous great teams, players and memories since then, I've never seen this team win a SB and have suffered many years of frustration with this team. I'll never stop being a fan, ever, but I'm just so disgusted with this organization year after year that it's hard to care much any more.

It didn’t end how we would like but it was another enjoyable season with family and friends. The younger crowd wouldn’t get it like I didn’t years ago, enjoy it, it goes fast.
Enough good moment to make watching fun but man is watching Gase coach tough business on Sunday.

So because you are old, and life goes fast - which I can't deny, does that mean you have to pretend that a crap season is an enjoyable season?
Unless you are really really old like in your 90s and are just glad to be waking up and not reading your obituary in the newspaper, this seems rather peculiar.
