For me it was the 2005, since we got a hell of a player from Ronnie Brown, Channing Crowder has been a beast and Matt Roth is projected to start this season, Travis Daniels have been doing OK in the secondary and we haven't seen either Alabi or Vickerson, but I heard they got a great potential...

The question is worded very....oddly, but I'm assuming you mean which year do you think we have the best draft. In that case, I picked 2005 because we got Ronnie Brown, Matt Roth, Channing Crowder, and Travis Daniels, who all look to be solid starters (if not potential future stars) should they stay healthy and get into a constant system the can be comfortable with and learn every nuance of instead of all this uncertainty and switching staffs and all that crap that has surrounded this team.

Of course, thats what I'm assuming, I also go with the 2005, we got a lot of luck or Nick Saban do knows how to draft...

2005, and it's not even close. Wow, the drafts before 2005 make me want to vomit. Only player worth mentioning before 2005 is Carey.

Yeah without question it's 2005. The 2004 group wasn't terrible. I loved Bua, Hadnot isn't terrible either and of course Vernon Carey is pretty decent. Still doesn't touch 2005 though.

Yes, I agree with you, eventhough I hate Saban for being a liar, we've got to accept that he drafted very well, he tried also to bring elite QB's to Miami (unfortunately Daunte couldn't prove that here, but he had been elite) and I think that if he would stay with us, here in Miami, with the years would have been a great coach, but who knows?, I don't wish him the best, neither the worst, I just don't want to hear from him again...

Back to the topic, If we combine the 2005 group with the 2006 group, I think we've got an insane group.

we got lucky because I'm not sure Saban was a great talent evaluator, he just knew a lot of the guys from college. I thought he was the man for bringing in Daunte for only a second rounder, but I think the new admin is going to let that go to waste.

Anyone who picks 2003 is either out of their mind or a hardcore Yeremiah Bell fan. 2004 was pretty good seeing as it landed our starting RT/LT(?), a pretty good prospect in Poole who may yet turn out nicely, a nice highlight reel STer, our starting C, and a very capable backup LB who filled in admirably for ZT.

This is always going to get the 2005 answer, so I'll break the mold.

As far as the NFL in general goes, I think we'll see the most talent overall come out of the 2004 draft. That was ridiculously deep. Just looking at the first round you have franchise QB's in Roethlisberger and Rivers. Manning COULD still have it in him. Larry Fitzgerald will turn into one of the best WR's in the NFL for years to come. Sean Taylor is a stud safety and IMO will be a perennial Pro Bowler. Tommie Harris is already one of the best DTs in the game. Roy Williams, DeAngelo Hall, Dunta Robinson, Jonathan Vilma, Steven Jackson, Vince Wilfork, D.J. Williams, and Chris Gamble all have the ability to turn into some of the best in the game at their positions. Then there are dark horses like Kellen Winslow, Lee Evans, Chris Perry, Kevin Jones, Udeze, Shawn Andrews, and of course Robert Gallery. And that's just the first round!

The draft also produced the likes of Bob Sanders, Karlos Dansby, Madieu Williams, Darnell Dockett, Shawntae Spencer, Max Starks, Matt Schaub, Gibril Wilson, and Donnie Jones.

Pretty impressive to be that dominant considering most of these guys are only 25-26.
