Who starts opposite of Revis against Miami?

Assuming Revis gets Wallace, then it's a matter of who's going to line up against Hartline presumably? I'd just assume Dennard, but it could be Ryan. I voted Dennard. (Nikolai Football Atheist)

Do you think Revis would go against Wallace? I'd contemplate putting him against hartline then putting Dennard/Saftey on Wallace deep.

Collins can Take the TE most of the time allowing the rest of the D to go after the QB and Running Game. (jsull87 Rookie)

That's a fair point. I can see putting Revis on Hartline. In that case, I could definitely see Dennard with safety help on Wallace. I have a harder time seeing Ryan on Wallace. (Nikolai Football Atheist)

Have to go with Dennard. Way more experience vs Butler. (deters Rookie)

I agree that it'll be based on who matches up best with Hartline. Though it's worth mentioning Hartline had more catches, yards, and yards per catch than Wallace.

Wallace got a lot more attention, no doubt, but so far he's been a one-trick pony in Miami and the Dolphins' OL has been so poor they can't even take advantage of that. I wouldn't be surprised to see Revis on Hartline either, with safety help on Wallace for whoever the other corner is. Figure they'd have safety help on Wallace anyways because of his speed.

I think Dennard will be the guy regardless. (convertedpatsfan)

I'll say it again RUDE AWAKENING COMING on Sunday. LOL

I wouldn't be surprised if Revis is on Clay and they'll use a corner with help over the top on Wallace.

If we don't start using Wallace way more creatively this year, that's exactly what they should do...

Or that.

Interesting they arent ready for our 5 wide sets with Clay and 4 WRs

Yep that worked really well last year but this year I don't think so. They can take out one guy maybe two but what about the REST OF THEM. LOL

Revis will be on clay, thats the way Belichick coaches, best defender and the biggest viewed threat being clay.

The patriots tried that last year (they took away Clay) and we still beat em

I'm mostly worried about Collins and Chandler, couple of really athletic pass rushers right there, both who line up in different places.

Not Exactly A dream scenario for our olines first Game.

If Moreno can get it going early it def makes life easier For us.

they took away clay except for the biggest offensive play of the game. I think we can agree that we have the weapons to attack teams now in the passing game, if the line holds up. I would love for them to "waste" revis on clay. Matchups are there for us to exploit as long as the protection holds up.

was going to mention my concerns about james vs jones good point.

Guaranteed they take away Clay and Hartline. They will make Wallace beat them. Honestly, I think Gibson, Matthews, and maybe Landry will be the key to putting up points. If the line holds up I think we'll be ok offensively. It's the defense we have to worry about. Assuming Amendola and Gronk don't tear an ACL in warm ups, that's going to be a tough passing game to contain...

Chandler in preseason looked in frighteningly good form. Good player.

Last year, when they took Clay away, everyone had good games, Wallace, Hartline, Matthews, and even Thigpen with a win. Don't think they will do the same.

And we didn't have arguably our best receiver last year in Gibson.
