Falcons practice roundup: Atlanta has encouraging day in joint session with Miami Dolphins
You can’t read too much into one practice, but you sure can enjoy it.

Totally agree!I like the tone of the article. It’s sorta like hey we looked good in TRAINING CAMP. Don’t get to crazy here.
Robert Hunt has been consistent. The rest I don't know. At this rate we should really consider moving him to the right side, but then we will have liabilities in the inside. I'm surprised Kindley regressed in a way.Sounds like the oline will resume the subpar play from last week.
They should just run the ball on every play until the can average 3.5 per carry.
No pass plays at all!
Back in the late 90s Jimma would just run on every down. Keep doing it until they win their battles.
That approach might be needed.
I really, really hope Miami hit on at least two of the three offensive linemen drafted last year. Hopefully, Jackson and Hunt.Robert Hunt has been consistent. The rest I don't know. My 2 cents for what it is worth.
We have 15 OL guys. Prototypical size/experience says Skura and Tom are your OC's. Jones, Kindley, Neto, and Eluemuor are your OG's. Dieter, Davis, Coleman, Eichenberg, Jackson, Little, Pankey, and Paris are your OT's.
Clearly the team would like Jackson to win the LT job but I don't think us fans should overlook Eichenberg as a solution. Even Little and Coleman should be in consideration. They have all played LT. Everyone here seems high on Jackson at LT but I thought he was much worse than Hunt at RT (who everyone wants to move to RG).
Hunt has shown he is a viable starter at RT and Davis has shown he is serviceable there too.
Skura should be the winner at OC but if Dieter proves to be better, great as he is certainly not a NFL OT. Tom just hasn't seemed to do much despite being employed.....going on 4 years I think.
Kindley should be able to lock down a starting gig at OG. I think he is better suited to RG than LG. I want my LG to be athletic and able to pull on running plays.
So who to play at LG? I'd like him to be strong enough at point of attack yet athletic enough to pull. Dieter should have won that spot. Maybe Jones, Eluemuor, or Neto? More likely the loser of Jackson/Eichenberg/Little/Coleman battle.
I missed any and all pieces of evidence that Kindley came into camp out of shape. Do you have anything? I never saw an offical weigh in. When I watch him the last 2 weeks in practice he was all over the field. In the first preseason game. He was the only lineman 15 yard down the field going after a batted ball.Kindley will be fine he is not in shape he came to TC to get in shape which is not the way of a pro athlete
Hopefully he learned a lesson here and doesn’t get injured injured while in the process of getting in condition
A Pro athlete is 12 mos a year job
