do you think Sparano is gonna be here for the long haul, do you feel in our bitter dolphin hearts he is the man that will be our future, honestly i love the way he is managing things he reminds me of a great coach(who we all hate) Bill Bellicheck, straight forward kinda guy who is all bussiness and no bull****......sorry to bring the pats in this....but i mean he is one of the best coaches ever....i hope Sparano overshadows him the next 5 years. lemme know how you feel.

Talk to me after 5 years. after everything we've been through, i wanna take a wait and see approach.

if thats the case why even talk about anything on this site, everything at this point is in a 5 year bases....is this the team to look at in 5 years? 15 years tooo late?

first of all i cant call bill bellicheck one of the greatest coaches any more cuz he cheated all those years.. so lets not make that comparison.. and lets see where we are after big tuna leaves in 4 years.. if he can keep the team up then he is a good coach

Asking how Tony sparano would do takes time. You cant just say he reminds you of a HOF coach after two pre season games. you have to wait it out, otherwise, we'll get sabaned again.

THe Key difference is Sparano has a support structure here. I think he's not just a new HC...He's part of a program. You're seeing left and right. They are ripping the guts out of a rotted fruit and, replanting it. People are expecting great things and I think that's there but, it won't be this year.

We'll see how fans react. I think he'll be here and, the fun will come in year three. As it usually comes.......Oh what fun that will be.

So, in answer.....At least three years. I think BP is going to last as long, BTW.

Not with this guy. No way. You can tell by the way he carries himself. It's the difference in Sugar Ray Leonard and Chuck Lidell...One belongs in welter weight boxing..One belongs kicking people's butts period end of story.

I think that this organization has finally done something right. This is a great scenario for us by taking some of the pressure off Sparano and putting it on Bill. Huizenga has tried to bring a winner back to Miami, but who knew Saban was going to do what he did. This is the first time in a long time that I feel going into the season that we have a strong team in place.

I see several diferrencences betewen this mgmt team and past regimes:
* There is three professionals and experienced people making the descions.
* they are building the team for long term. Not built for short term to keep their jobs.
* They have specific plan and they are stiking to it. They mean what they say. Best perfomer wins the job. Great example: Cutting K Feely.
* They make logical choices(getting the best player available). Not a player that fits they system.
It is just pre season, however any football fan can tell that these guys know what they are doing, not only from this season, but their previous history, especially Parcells.

It would appear that the organizational leadership team is headed in the right direction. To comment on Sparano's coaching ability though, will have to wait until he actually coaches some real games - has to make half time adjustments, etc.

Sparano has differntiated himself from all of the previous coaches. He makes crisp and final decisions. His decision to move Roth to OLB to add value is a great one even if it fails. He knew to cut his losses with Travis Daniels. I am very impressed with his coaching ability. I want to see him in games that matter, but he is looking very promising as a head coach.
