Front Office Chaos?

I know haven't figured out why yet....The jest of the article was Wayne giving Wanny a vote of confidence for some reason...how Wayne dismantled the Marlins and how he treated Shula and Marino on the way out. Basically sayin he is'nt fit to be an owner. Sorry again

You can go to Florida today.com.....Sports..... and down towards the bottom is the Karasotis dude that wrote the article.

Anyway, I can't fault Miami for their running back situation. But why rush to trade next year's second-round draft pick for A.J. Feeley when, had you waited, guys like Jeff Garcia, Kurt Warner and Tim Couch were available.

Does he know what he is talking about here? Isnt Tim Couch out & got cut be the Packers? Warner would not survive with our OL & would just fumble when he gets hit hard. Garcia? im not so sure about that one either.

anybody else wonder if Feeleys pans out, will these same reporters will praise us for getting AJ?

I agree with you too, I wondered that he must have found Ricky's cache because Garcia isn't exactly lighting it up, Couch was cut and then cut again and has no arm left and Warner would be dead if he were here.

Otherwise I do tend to agree with the gist of the article, though if Spielman is GM then isn't the pick up of Feeley and Gordon his balliwick and not Dave's?

guys give Garcia a break! he had one bad game. I'll take him anyday, still will. He's going through the same thing trent green is right now - no good receivers.

Memo to Wannstedt: There is a reason why A.J. Feeley was Philadelphia's third-string quarterback and Lamar Gordon was St. Louis' third-string running back.
YES, THERE WAS A REASON!

Unfortunately, this reporter decided to just look at what they saw rather than research and realize why they were third stringers.

AJ Feeley was third behind Donovan McNabb and Detmer. First off, not many other quarterbacks in the league could start over McNabb. Secondly, Detmer was the better ball holder for kicking, and thats the only reason. When McNabb got hurt, and Detmer soon followed, AJ did pretty good. Then, when Detmer was healed, he was still held out in favor of Feeley. HMMMM.

Now, for Lamar Gordon. What do you expect when you're behind one of the most versatile offensive weapons in the NFL? I'm referring to Faulk of course. Also, the Rams this year drafted SKILL over need more than anything, and Steven Jackson was too good to pass up. Gordon had been battling injury during this time, and so wasn't able to show his true talents ( yet he still did pretty damn good. ) Therefore he got relegated to third string.

Not only that, but everyone has to start somewhere. Not everytone is thrusted into the 1st string position right away.

Thats right, sir, you got SERVED. :D

Lamar Gordon has endured ankle troubles his entire pro career. He finally had surgery last month to deal with it. At any rate, the Rams knew this all too well. And Stephen Jackson was just too good to pass up when he was there at 24. So the Rams went after him.
