After watching the past three games I have to really question some of the decisions this front office has done. Now with a real schedule ahead of us some of the same weaknesses are still there.

1) No number one receiver, even though this years draft was loaded with receivers. Ginn will never be a number one receiver but he would be a great compliment to a number one.

2) Quarterback still a problem after Marino. Sure Pennington had a great year last year but look at our schedule. We played a lot of easy teams last year and also played Buffalo in Toronto. Any time we played real teams we struggled. In addition to Pennington , Henne has not looked like a franchise quarterback like everyone said he would.

3) Free Agents have not been the best players picked to help this team. Gabril Wilson was paid a huge contract yet he looks slow out there. Wilford signed for big money and now he is gone. Channing Crowder was not worth the money they gave him unless you want a linebacker running from behind someone after they got the first down. Will Allen getting an extension? He looks like the weak link now in our secondary. How many penalties does this guy get in a game for unnecessary roughness!

4) Drafting Pat White with a high second round pick. Like we didn't have other holes to fill? He was the last thing we needed with that high of a pick.

I think you really have to question some of the things that this front office has done. I wonder how long before the new owner starts to wonder this himself. Going into this years draft I think Parcells and Ireland got caught up in our record last year and drank too much Dolphins koolaid. Now this year you will see the real Miami team that has no playmakers.

The only good thing is that we will have high draft picks next year. However who knows what those picks will be. Hopefully not another Ted Ginn or Pat White!

I think this is a stupid post. Dont know how you can call the Pat White pick bad when he hasnt gotten a chance. Dude you obviously have a lot to learn!

A lot to learn? Maybe you better go watch some more tape before you open your mouth. Last I knew we were 0-3 , not 3-0. You must be the only person that likes the Pat White pick! If you think that was a great move then you have more to learn then me!

It was a waste of a pick. Top second rd picks need to contribute. We had some serious needs this offseason and we did not fill them. We drafted Pat White for gimmick plays. Total waste of a pick. We have a major lack of talent on this team and it is being exposed. We got away with it because we were playing easy teams.

i miss the good old days when shula would get players off the street and make them work. he could always get free agents and plop them right into action like they were here for 5 years

Good so we'll see you in a Dolphins polo shirt and hat at the new GM Press Conference where you'll be introduced at soon?

A 2nd for basically a 3rd string QB is wayy too much to pay for White. Not happy about that one bit.

Especially when we have so many needs to address.

As for Ginn, I believe the window of patience will close in on him. Turner may not be deemed ready.. but he may be forced to step it up and suit up. I expect Hartline to start getting some of those plays that Ginn would've beebn lined up for. Once he begins being less agressive on the line I think he'll do well.

Our free agents signed by the trifecta have been an absolutely JOKE!!! One thing keeps running through my mind. If you want to keep on signing 2nd or 3rd tier free agents, your going to get those types of performances. After all.. a dog can't change it's spots.

It's Henne time. I knew we'd see him this season, but to be honest.. I am very disappointed it came by injury. I felt like if we only had a win we'd make the change at the biweek. I think it would've helped having Pennington push him a little. But it's his team. I really hope he seizes the opportunity, and makes us proud.

And proves the Trifecta right.

I think even a Moron that isn't a GM wouldn't of picked Pat White in the second round! But hey what do I know right. Maybe you thought the Ginn pick was the right move too. (LOL)

What you did in college means nothing in the NFL. Pat White will never be a franchise quarterback in the NFL. Maybe you didn't hear what I said so I will say it again for you just in case you are hard of hearing. PAT WHITE WILL NEVER BE A STARTING QUARTERBACK IN THE NFL!
Did you see that in your little crystal ball? 3 weeks under his belt and 5 snaps? Your right what am I thinking? We should have tossed his but the week after we drafted him! He's just an athlete that can throw and run, oh and by the way he can catch too. Yea we dont need that.

I think henne will do alright, I really want to draft a good, solid safetly. Wilson is a WASTE because he's too similar to Bell, and Bell is our best defensive player.

You said everything perfectly . If you want to get bargain basement free agents then that's the kind of play you will see on the field. The Parcells blue collar strategy is not working anymore. Its fine if you have some of those guys on your team but you also need play makers! Until this front office starts to go after some play makers - either free agents or draft we are in trouble!

What you did in college means nothing once you reach the NFL. It only helps you get drafted. You have a lot to learn. He will never be starting qb. If you went on stats in college then why is not every Texas Tech qb not a stud in the NFL? Total waste of a pick.

Some of you people are missing some things.

1) even with ONE MORE GUY BE IT ILB, SAFETY, NT, whatever u want to say there is no garuntee that this person would be good or be a "bust" and there is no way that this one player would change our plight this season.

2) How do you all know Henne is in the most favorable light with the trifecta. How do you know that white was simply a luxury pick? maybe they liked the potential in this kid alot and also thought he'd get more snaps so we'd have those "big plays" everyone talks about. It just hasnt happened yet - but then again nothing good has happened yet for us.

3) we adressed CB which was a glaring need this offseason. And these two young corners are going to be great - sean smith is already very good he just needs to assert himself a little more like on that pass into double coverage yesterday.

4) we also adressed several other needs. These problems were not going to be fixed overnight. I am not apologizing for the couple blunders this FO has made i.e - signing crowder again - guy still hasnt shown up how he should. resigning Bell was a good move, the guy is still a solid safety and there is no team in the NFL that NEVER gives up big plays esp to Manning and even Rivers - the problem is wilson and the ILBs in coverage, but wilson was good enough with the giants and he still was right there on a few of those plays yesterday but just didnt execute as sparano would say.

5) They drafted 2 wide recievers and one of them was supposed to be a big, playmaking WR but he fell behind in camp - so they werent opposed to upgrading at WR but parcells is not going to sign up a big contract Diva, and if he had ppl woudl either be complaining that penny couldnt throw to him or that he was a Bust right now b/c trust me we still wouldnt have a great record MAYBE we'd be 1-2 which is better than 0-3 but not by much.

whats funny is any FO and any coach can be called a genious or a bust every year. thats why there is such a high turnover in this league and i think its B.S. personally. There are several factors that go into a season - i think right now our biggest flaw is too much koolaid and a lack of motivation and hunger. Last year they played with something to prove and thats why they played so efficently and found ways to win - this year they are playing almost flat with no incentive to close out the game. The first game shook guys like fasanos confidence, and the second devistated this whole team, couple that with penny going down sunday and u have a really bad team emotionally. IMO the responsiblity to turn the atitude of this team around lies with Sparano - so i hope he is talking and walking much differently in practice than he is at press conferences and i hope he intends to shake up this roster a little bit. He always preached competition and no one has a safe job, and if thats the case then pull some of these clowns who have been playing horribly!

Just hang in here guys, the picks and personal are a step toward rebuilding

and stop whining about pat white, the one guy would not have fixed this team just like Brady Quinn wouldnt have with the Ginn pick, just roll with the punches and hope the FO gets to complete their grand plan.

I think a lot of people need to stop drinking the Koolaid and wake up. All the things that I listed were a lot more then one player changing the team! You can't expect receivers drafted on the second day to turn into playmakers. Sure there are some diamonds in the rough but there were plenty of great receivers drafted the first day.

It was obvious we needed a number one receiver last year but the front office decided to ignore that and hope that Ginn would break out this year. Guess what - it didn't happen!

Its great to be a Miami fan and I will be one till the day I die but at some point you have to look at things from a different perspective and not always from a fans point of view. The reality is this front office ignored offense until the second day of the draft and now we will pay the price.

I wouldnt call anything a wasted pick for at least 3 yrs. 3 games? no way will I say white pick was a waste.

Wilson sucks, bad FA signing so what, every FO makes mistakes on FA signing, we made one last yr and it looks like we made one this yr. I was all over picking up Leonard in FA because he makes plays and returns kicks and he is doing well with the Jets for a 1/4 of the money. I am and will be a big supporter of this FO and if you look at Parcells history yr 2 is usually his worse yr so I am not worried yet.
