The Dolphins haven’t told defensive end Dion Jordan if he will move to linebacker, and the front office has decided not to get involved and instruct the coaching staff what to do with him. But Jordan said he can play at 265 pounds regardless of position.

“I just want to be used,” he said. Teammate Jason Trusnik said Jordan “is athletic and smart enough” to be a 4-3 strongside linebacker but “you won’t know until he does it.”

smart enough? He hasnt shown me he has the knowledge or discipline on the field yet.

I'm trying to figure out how this is news.

Joe is so creative with his personnel.

Who knows but I am sure Joe will figure out the best spot for him like always.

I found this article so maybe it's still up for consideration.

DAVIE — When the Dolphins traded up in the 2013 draft to grab Dion Jordan No. 3 overall, they envisioned him as an athletic, pass-rushing freak.

But nearly two years into his tenure in Miami, the Dolphins can’t find a regular spot for him in the lineup.

Miami Dolphins will consider moving Dion Jordan to linebacker. Defensive end Dion Jordan has not been able to find a role that keeps him on the field as much as coaches would like. For the first time Monday, defensive coordinator Kevin Coyle acknowledged that coaches would consider moving Jordan next season from defensive end to outside linebacker, where the Dolphins have a much greater need.

“We’re going to evaluate everything here as we go into the offseason. That’s certainly going to be one of the main topics,” Coyle said. “We have got to find ways to utilize him more.”

Honestly I don't care what this bust of a draft pick says.just stay off the juice and earn a damn job and prove something. Trade him for a future long snapper

Hopefully we will be jetisoning a couple high price non performing LB's so there should be a spot open for him to take.
Whether he grabs the bull by the horns or not is anybodys guess.

Lets not act like there were not chances he just hasn't excelled or even been good overall. Nobody handed Jenkins playing time he stepped up

agree 100 %

This is his third year. Three strikes and you are out.

hopefully no suspensions, hopefully no injuries, and most important.... Hopefully he understands his position with discipline and knowledge and control. Play team defense!!!

Another suspensions and he is toast or at least he should be.
