I can't believe this i thought for sure he was a nole

Over under on him making a mistake or getting in some sort of trouble? I dont think he means to but it always seems to happen to him, I dont think he is a bad guy though. He's a great player and I hope he has success.

I heard he got a 1050 on the SAT. I'm sure that's legit...:rolleyes2

Regardless, at least he's out of our hair.

If anything it is whether or not he'll remain elligible academically imo

WVU has pretty low academic standards. My cousin plays hockey/lacross for them and he says that when he got accepted in 2003, the required GPA was a 2.5. If you can't get a 2.5 you do not deserve to go to college.

Anyways, from what I heard is Deion encouraged him to go to WVU for several reasons. 1)Rich Rodriguez is a great offensive mind that is starting to send players to the NFL (Chris Henry and Pacman Jones, as well as Brandon Myles and Dan Mozes this year, and Pat White and Steve Slaton in the future) 2)Devine fits perfectly into the West Virginia offens 3)It's a chance for him to start fresh.

I'll give Deion credit if true. Devine has had a troubled life so far, and he definatly needs to get away from the Florida life he'll be leaving behind.

I think it's a great fit also. And if the academic standards are as you say, which I dont doubt, all he has to do is go to class and he should be fine.

I heard about him coming to WVU earlier. We will be freshman togather which will be pretty cool. He should fit into rodriguez's spread option offense great. With his speed, i see no probplem with him starting his freshman season, unless we red-shirt him

grades.
should be a juco guy, he made a 13 on his ACT. He is figured to be a sign and place...and his grades are so bad that he prob. cant make prep school. That would mean 2-3 yrs eligibilty at WV.

this guy is very dynamic and would have looked good in orange and blue. I have read some scouts thought he was better high school athlete than reggie bush, we shall see if he can make the grades and stay clean. Easier to be clean in Morgantown that it is at FSU that is for sure.
