Funny little story while I was in Michigan...

Was hangin out with some relatives (in-laws) at a family reunion, and of course I was wearing some Dolphin shirt and hat and all they did was bash Joey and was "thanking God" that we have taken the problem of the Lions hands....I pretty much ended the conversations with "yeah..your right...we did take Joey off your hands...however...if he was the root of all the problems.....how come you still suck?". The room got quite and on to a different topic.:fire:
 
everyone needs a scapegoat... they must feel relieved to be rid of joey so matt millen can screw the team up some more.
 
I think Joey for a 6th round pick was a steal. No one except Barry Sanders and even he didn't want to stay around does anything in Detroit. It is a coach and player killer. They should bring back Wayne Founts or whatever his name was.

Lions at 0-5...their fans should not criticize any other teams.
 
It's too easy to bash on Detroit fans who still try to make excuses for ownership. It's kinda sad in a way, It should be the right of every fan to rub the ribs of another teams fan every once in awhile, Lions fans have been robbed of even that. What a sorry, pathetic, hopeless organization. Thank god for the Pistons, Tigers, Red Wings, Shock, and Wolverines

That is AWESOME!!! Matt Millen is the TRUE cancer of that organization, I just can't comprehend how he has held on to his job this long. He should have been fired years ago.

To think that the majority of Lions fans blamed Joey for losing is ignorance. For some reason Dolphins fans want to think that, I have no clue why

Nice one and you could'nt have thought of a better answer because it's the truth.

Bravo, however, I think you pretty much sunk any chances of reaching "adopted son" status within the family with that.
