McNabb’s lawn burned with Cardinals cheers





CHANDLER, Ariz. (AP)—Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb recently had to play defense at his offseason home in Chandler.
Two Arizona Cardinals fans hung their team’s flag in a tree and burned “Go Cards,” “Go Kurt,” and “I heart AZ” in McNabb’s yard with diesel fuel, Chandler police Sgt. Joe Favazzo said Tuesday.
Favazzo said the fans hung the flag Thursday, and McNabb laughed it off and even left it hanging.
 
I agree with ya Boss....i never saw the funny aspect of destroying someone elses personal property.

Same here....At least not after I passed the age of 7 or so. On my lawn, that would've been destruction of a fence or grazeing area primarially used for livestock (In my case goats) and they just commited a felony. PResumeably they did this after dark. Had I been home there is a pretty good chance one or more of them would be in the hospital or worse.

That's irrelevant. By that thinking, would it would be okay for me to break into his house and steal a few thousand from him because he's wealthy? Or even your house if you're better off financially than me (which isn't unlikely)?

What those idiots did was vandalism and I'm glad they got done for it. How stupid do they need to be though to leave a box with one of their addresses printed on it? Duh!
 
Best part of the story:

Favazzo said officers found an address label on the box that had been left, and it led to Chandler resident Rex Perkins, 37, who later admitted to the pranks.

What a tool!

While I can see how one could jump to the conclusion it might be disgruntled Eagles fans (given how quick they can be to turn on their own team at games) it was actually Cardinals fans who did it. Who knew it? The Cardinals have fans!
 
its in very poor taste also burning anything on a black man's lawn just is not the smartest thing to do.
