Via @SamsonTigerclaw: Jeff Ireland fired. Official announcement coming later. Hearing that Ross gave Ireland the ultimatum of "Playoffs or bust." Not happy with how this year turned out. Philbin appears to be safe, but Ross expects severe changes to the staff. Official decision will be made later this week. Ireland is reportedly cleaning out his office and saying his goodbyes. Closed door meeting at Dolphins Headquarters right now involving Stephen Ross and Dawn Aponte. Philbin is NOT in the closed door meeting. I am hearing he is still working on the second half adjustments for the Jets game. Jay Glazer is not in the meeting either. Ross is on a RAMPAGE right now.

Was just overheard telling Sherman, "The logo might not wear a helmet, but you better start." Wowzers! Ross physically went after Ireland when firing him. It was only stopped when Philbin's offensive line coach, Jim Turner picked up his blitz. The Miami meeting is done. It ended with a loud thump, crying & red liquid seeping under the door. John Jerry spilled his Jell-O apprently. I know guys are skeptical, but I have these bits on good authority. The same source told me Miami lost today around 5 P.M. so he is credible. My source tried to get comment from Mike Wallace, but Mike ran away real quick, before slowing to a trot and ultimately just stopping halfway. Ross reportedly call Wayne Huizenga to see if he wanted his team back. Wayne said he had no interest in owning the Florida Panthers again. But seriously, Ireland was fired tonight.

Open door meeting in Davie now. Tannehill thought about rushing into it, but instead waited and as a result...sacked.
Mike Sherman has been fired too. Well, I think so anyways. Ross just shouted at him "Go, Go!" So either he is fired, or it is a pass play.
