how quickly it goes from all negativity yesterday to "oh, we'll be ok" or "this guy is great". Everyone was so in shock of passing on Quinn, they couldnt realize how good all the players we drafted really are and the impact they will have on our team.

What are we supposed to do? Sure it was shocking to see ted ginns name instead of Quinns, but we're real fans. We know that its over and w ehave to move on. it's better to light one candle than to sit nd curse the darkness.

If Quinn was off the board at 9 the media and everyone else would be saying how the Dolphins draft was a B+/A-

This is my first post and I must say that I may actually watch some games this year. After Ricky retired, I have been boycotting Dolphin Games, but now I actually have hope.

I think they addressed all of the needs that were open. Ginn at WR, Beck at QB, 2 solid Offensive Linemen, and I like the speed with Booker and we have a big FB.

I do not think the Front Office is done either. Ricky Williams is going to be back, Trent Green may come here. What is Dante Culpepper's real status. Can Ginn heal quickly. I heard rumors that he runs a 4.28 when healthy.

If everything goes positive for us this could be a good team. But it does not matter as the Pats (with all their moves) will win the Superbowl.

Like everyone else I was in shock when we didn't pick Quinn. I was angry. Then after seeing us pick up Beck in the early second round and after watching some clips of Ginn I had the "Ah-Hah!" factor. Who cares what people rate our draft, what matters is who produces for our team. The draft is all said and done now so the only thing left for us true fans to do is support our team and hold high hopes.

Quinnsteria was a media creation by none other than the Dolphin front office themselves!!!!!
How many times did they "work him out" 20 times!
The night before the draft: make sure you give us your cell #!
Hiring Terry Shea, as Quarterback's coach, who personally tutored Quinn for the draft.
Or Mueller, when asked about Quinn he responded: "he'll never be there @ 9".
It was the idiot front office that created the Quinn legend to the Dolfans and they deserved to be booed when they selected Ginn just on sheer stupidity alone.
Mueller admitted to Sal Palantonio on ESPN today that: maybe we left Quinn's name out there longer than we should have".

The PR angle was thoroughly botched. I thought Wayne Huizenga's comment to Armando Salguero yesterday was telling, where he said that Randy and Cam had shared their QB strategy at dinner Wednesday night but that you needed to stick around for the second pick to understand it.

Why are we rehashing this old thread or Brady Quinn....the funniest thing about Quinn is his Subway commercial where he says he is busy on Sunday.

You boycotted the dolphins because of something they had no control over? Lol... Oookkkk.... Maybe you dont know this but when you boycott something it is because you disagree with who you are boycotting against. So you boycotted the dolphins because Ricky made his own decision to retire... Kinda reverse dontcha think
:baghead:

EDIT: Oh great, i didnt even notice the date when this was posted... I got all fired up for nothing... thanks :beer1:
