Former Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Eric Green is on hand hoping to land a job with the Miami Dolphins. It looks as though the team could interview Green in the coming days.

There is a lot of talk about Nick Saban down here. Most of it negative at the Senior Bowl amongst the NFL community but on the outside Alabama fans are happy with the Tide's new hire.

One rather humorous story is about Saban and the cell phone given to him by the Miami Dolphins.

Seems Saban was given a cell phone with an unlimited account while he was head coach of the Dolphins. After bolting Miami for the Alabama job the organization continued to get huge cell phone bills from Saban's account. When the calls were traced it seems the former Dolphin coach was using the phone for his new job to recruit high-school prospects for Alabama!

The source told us the phone was immediately shut off.

Anywho. If Eric Green is trying to land a TEs coach job here, that could be a sign that Mularkey's not in line for the TEs coach job.

Or maybe Green would be an assistant.
 
What a moron and a theif! He knew that the phone was for DOLPHINS OFFICIAL USE ONLY and to continue to possess it and use, what a total ***. Interesting news on Green. This whole what will Mularkey do thing is getting interesting.

Are you listening to the Joe Bailey show 790?? A caller asked about MM and where they see him in this teams future and Bailey said that the Dolphins have a great deal of respect for MM and value him in this organization and were very interested in keeping him on this team. Joe also said MM is highly respected around the league.
 
There appears to be no depth at which this man wouldn't go to be the biggest jackass on the planet.

Eric Green as TE coach? Hmm...maybe he will be an assistant first then eventually move there as a positional coach.
 
I'm not up on the recruiting guidlines in the NCAA but aren;t there times of the year they are allowed to recruit and contact players, is is time now?
 
All that money and Saban couldn't afford his own cell phone..:confused:

The day he left they should have shut that phone off.:fire:

I can't find the link (I read it this morning), but there is more jackassery beyond that. Apparently he is going to LSU recruits and trying to get them to switch their commitments to Alabama by taking credit for LSU's 22-4 record the past 2 years because it was done with players that he initially recruited.


Sounds like he's even more of an egomaniac than I thought. :shakeno:
 
the bill SHOULD be sent to him. If we're going to force williams to play football Saban BETTER have to pay that pill. Jerkoff.
 
This dosen't surprise me at all coming from Nick Saban. He is the most selfish person on the planet and has no loyalty to anyone except for himself. The fact that he's even trying to sway recruits in the way that he is shows how much class he has. I hope nobody goes to Alabama and they suffer until he gets fired.
 
this just in..... also on that bill was a ton of 1-900 numbers for the max time allowed. Those numbers were traced back and found out they were linked to the ClosetStudMuffin.com site...

Good post, Saban has no class and is a selfish jerk. If he had ANY class he would reimburse Wayne for the calls, but don't hold your breath.
 
i hope LSU spanks the doody out of the tide!! this guy was a failure here.. i backed him while he was our coach... once he pulled a ( i h8 this guy) LARRY BROWN...i saw him 4 what he was...
pathetic.
