Cal Poly WR Ramses Barden posted forty times of 4.51 and 4.55 at his Pro Day on Friday.
Barden, 6'6/227, improved on his 4.61 Combine time, which was already impressive for a player of his size. He also posted a 10-foot, 2-inch broad jump and ran a 7.10 three-cone in addition to catching the ball well in drills. Barden looks like a potential late-second, early-third round pick.

OK, I am officially on the BANDWAGON. At 6'6" 227lbs and that speed and jumping ability he is the Red Zone target we need. That is the one ingredient our WR corps doesn't have. Hope we use one of our 2nd Rounders on this Guy and use our 1st Rounder on a CB, LB or NT.

I hate pro days, what's on the game tape? We need a guy that seasoned like Bess was coming out of Hawaii last year, but bigger, fast enough, can run great routes and has a nack for getting open. His 40 time isn't the end all be all, if so then Ted Ginn would be a Pro Bowler right?

Sorry guys but Brandon London's numbers are better.

They have the same 40 times and are close on the broad jump but London's shuttle times and expecially the 10 yard dash blow Barden away.

I'm tellin ya, our WR's are better ahtlete's and football players than they are given credit for.

Bess is established as our PR/slot receiver, he isn't going anywhere.

Camarillo was our leading WR before the injury and he has a contract.

Wilford will cost us almost 2 mil in dead cap if we cut him.

Where do you think Barden fits in????????????????????

He won't make the roster because London is a great ST's player and Barden really has nothing better to offer than London besides 2inches in hieght.

The Dolphins best shot at improving the receiver corps is drafting Jared Cook to be used as both a TE and a WR.

Joey Haynos defintely can be beat out and David Martin is in the last year of his contract and probably will not be brought back.

Wilford may yet be cut and The Dolphins may draft a play maker like Percy Harvin who can be used in the rushing attack, but as far as Barden and Robiskie and that type of player, maybe next year, or after Camarillo moves on.

He really doesnt have a spot. He will be a reach by 56, adn gone by our 3rd.
