The speculation about the 49ers trading Jim Harbaugh to the Browns before Cleveland hired Mike Pettine seems to make it unlikely Harbaugh will be in San Francisco for the long term. He is going into the fourth year of a five-year $25 million contract and will soon be due a huge raise. After taking the Niners to the NFC title game, the Super Bowl and the NFC title game, in his first three seasons, he has established himself as one of the best coaches in the NFL. But he’s apparently had a falling out with GM Trent Baalke and the 49ers have highly regarded defensive line coach Jim Tomsula as a natural replacement. Where will Harbaugh go next? Dolphins owner Steve Ross is a Michigan man and so is Harbaugh. Ross tried to hire him in 2011 but Harbaugh, who was at Stanford, elected to stay in the Bay Area and take the 49ers job. Ross could throw an awful lot of money at Harbaugh next year and by then, the 49ers and Harbaugh could mutually agree to part ways ... Somehow, Ross spared Dolphins coach Joe Philbin in the fallout from the BullyGate scandal. Philbin claimed he had no knowledge what was going on. That’s a fireable offense. How can he not know what’s going on in his own locker room? Can a coach be so out of touch? Bill Parcells had his locker room wired and if he ever sensed something wrong, he would summon Harry Carson or George Martin to fix it. Or he would fix it himself. Unless the Dolphins have a big season, I think Philbin will be fired, especially if Ross can get Harbaugh.

Was Parcells aware of LT's serious cocaine problem? If he was, then he just chose to ignore it. What a load of dung.

The reference to Big Tuna having the locker room wired. Is this just implying that Parcells was just well attuned to what was going on or did he literally have it wired? Interesting that Parcells son-in-law, Scott Pioli bugged the offices of his key employees in Kansas City. Maybe he learned this from Big Tuna? Maybe Parcells did similar things in Miami? Maybe Pioli and Belichick did similar things in New England? Welcome your thoughts..

By the time the Tuna got to Miami, it was rancid.

Please dont get used by Harbaugh Mr. Ross. I already hate Fisher!

Not that I feel like getting this again but how would Philbin know things were going on if he never saw anything and was never told?

Good luck bugging the locker room. I'm sure that perfectly legal.
