I would rather have Jacoby Jones. It would be nice to get a seasoned Vet in here for all these young guys on our WR corps.
 
I think there was a reason why the Skins cut him. Too old and overpaid? The Pats always try to do things on the cheap and this is why guys like Wes Welker hold out. Good for them.
 
And he'll resurrect his career just like he did with Haynesworth and Ochocinco.

Define "seasoned vet." Bess has been in the league four years now this will be his 5th, Hartline has been in 3 and this will be his fourth. Jones has 5 years in the league with 21 starts now going on his 6th season and has yet to do anything worth noting. Bess has 20 starts and Hartline has 23 starts...what exactly is Jacoby Jones going to teach Bess or Hartline?

I never said anything about teaching anyone anything. I would just like to get some veteran depth at the position. Bess and Hartline are the only real locks I see at the position. There is a pretty wide open competition for the other WR spots. Another vet coming in may push one of the younger guys a little harder to make the roster.
