Well I don't know if he would be "our Belichick", but I do agree that he was fired prematurely. His 1st year the Cowgirls went 10-6. The 2nd year they went 8-8 without Irvin for 12 of 16 games and with Moose Johnston only playing 1 game. My opinion is that Jones was just a little too impatient.
 
ey, why not.. its possible... i dont understand all those people wanting a "young guy" who has proven nothing and expect them to come in here looking like sean payton and the saints next year... news flash..NOT GONNA HAPPEN... we need a guy thats proven himself time and time again, who has passion, dedication and more specifically knows how to utilize the underachieving talent we have here... CHAN GAILEY IS YOUR GUY.. look no further than 2000,2001 seasons, and while ur lookin there, take a look at his pro football record.. its insane
 
yeah...sure...if he was 10yrs younger, a 100lbs. lighter...AND A LOT BETTER OF A COACH!...geez youguys...the man was here before and our O was 21st/24th...that ain't exactly knockin anybody over...(isn't that where we already are??)...

i dont care if we were 32nd on offense.. we scored the 8th most points in the entire nfl...im sure ud find the eagles or seahawks or a team like that with the 8th most points this year... the guy had NO , absolutely NO talent to work with on offense and somehow he got them going, hes a smart guy
 
Shotty on the jets- there offense was 25th ranked this year but the guy utilizes his team, his QB to the best of their abilities... he knew they had no running game and his qb didnt have a strong arm but he worked around it.. same with gailey

I thought WTF? they like this loser who totally flopped in Cleveland?

I know everybody else here thought it was a genius move

Gailey will most likely be our Wayne Fontes, but we don't really know

I wanted a young up and coming coach but oh well
