There's a couple things that really stood out to me tonight. I will give you my highs and lows. Feel free to chime in.

Highs- Lamar miller had a nice catch and run.

Lows- Those nike uniforms have to be ugliest ever worn by the dolphins. Jerseys are down right pathetic.
- The game sucked.

Derrick Shelby, Chris Hogan, Chris Clemons, Marcus Thigpen should all get gold stars.

J. Martin, Artis Hicks, The entire defense, get thumbs down.

Mike Egnew blows.

The special teams was very good tonight. I was impressed with the coverage and we got some nice returns.

I thought the Tannehill touchdown drive against the Panther 1's was the highlight. To me scoring touchdowns is what matters in a quarterback.

Moore has zero....Tannehill has led touchdown drives in both games.

The lows is the right side of the O-line, the receivers....and of course the defense.

Lows
1) Jonathan Martin looked like Marc Colombo tonight.
2) Koa Misi cannot pass cover to save his life and got abused.
3) Granted Burnett and Dansby did not play but all the LBs out there looked slow and out of position. Carolina burned the D bad on 2 screen plays and another big screen got called back on a penalty.
4) How many passes did Tannehill get deflected?
5) No running game at all. Zero, Zilch, None.

Highs
1) honestly cannot point out one atm

Highs:
Brandon Fields
Rishard Matthews
Punt coverage

Lows:
Offensive Line
John Martin ( had to be separated for his play)
Defensive Line ( no pressure)
LB's ( lost all game)
Secondary ( The Panthers WR's were open all game)
Wr's ( Too many drops and no separation)
Rb's ( No big rushes)

5 tipped balls at the line of scrimmage for Tannehill in the first half alone? That concerned me.

Jason Trusnik sucks something fierce. You all better pray to whoever you light candles to that nothing happens to Dansby this year.

We had virtually no pressure tonight from the starters without Wake being in there.

These Refs are killing me, I really hope the NFL gets the ref situation resolved before the season. Sean Smith foul was clearly an interception, Vontae call was bushleague, so was the roughing the passer call on Kaddu.

J. Martin got his lunch ate a couple times by Charles Johnson, Lydon Murtha didn't show-out either.

Cam Newton looked like Warren Moon with all that time to throw.

I feel like the receivers weren't getting great separation against Carolina's starters.

Pat Devlin is making his case to be the 3rd stringer. Overall good game with bad awareness on the last throw, should've thrown it away, would have had another 5 seconds to run another play.

Happy to see Rishard Matthews step up tonight.

Charles Clay is a gem of a 6th rounder.

I was actualy fine with the call on Kaddu, that's expected especially since the QBs helmet fell off.

What was missed was the clipping by the Panthers Olineman on that run in the first quarter (but the run was called back due to holding by the WR anyway).

The TRIP by the DT on Slaton's run that could've gone for some major yardage. Slaton didn't get someone on him, that DT saw him, and kicked out his leg and tripped him. That's a penalty REFS!

Highs-

Devlin played well

Rishard Mathews finally showed some promise (think this kid is gonna start turning it on)

Tannehill played allllright couple plays he was staring down his receiver , but He got 0 help, line was getting abused ( Getting 4 passes batted down is on the Lineman enough said ) Loved the way Tannehill was standing in the pocket and taking hits ( not doing Henne's turtle) taking big shot after big shot but still standing strong.

Lamar Miller put on a good showing was impressed with what he brings to the short passing game

Brandon Fields - Bombs that ****

LOWS

ENtire Oline - as a unit they just looked awful, obviously Jake looked good but one Olineman having a good game is fruitless, Mainly Johnathan Martin- He looked slow, Weak and confused. I really hope he pulls it together . THe line had absolutely no push up front during running plays.

RObert Wallance, - Where is this guy

Marcus Thigpen- I know people with disagree with me on this and i wanted to say he had a good game buttt did anyone pay attention to him at the end of the game?? with 20 seconds left he's just waddling around taking his time getting to the line, not knowing what to do, then blowing a pass right at him. Stuff like that erks me like come on man this could make or break your career and your half ***ing it ? (drops)

Entire LB core- Lets pray our Mediocre starting Lb's stay healthy this season because our back ups areeeeee worthless. When Cam Newton was in on pretty much every pass he completed it was a blown LB assignment, (aside from the few passes to steve smith and Lafell)

Vontae davis - He was getting beat by no names and then threw a hissy fit because he was getting man handled by Steve Smith, Richard marshall didnt look too much better than him either.

D line - are they serious?

I saw Miller pick up a blitzing linebacker (good)

Rashad Jones STILL takes bad angles. (bad)

... Michael. But we can just call him "Cut."

Sadly he was a third round draft pick, so it's likely that a guy like Les Brown -- who actually seems to be cognizant of the fact that he needs to improve and is trying to do so -- will be cut instead.
