I hate to write after losing a game in the fashion that we did. Many will argue that we were screwed by some of the calls by the referee's in the game (especially the pass interference which was questionable and the ball placement was ridiculous) which caused us three points at the end of the first half. Hopefully Philbin will bring those calls to the league office by Monday. I think he should have thrown the red flag in that situation for the placement on the ball. - Breakdown in the coach and his staff (unless he could not contest the placement).

- The woe's on defense - This Defense was labelled as one the best D's with the personnel - I see a lack of tackling and I see our defense being mismatched against the offense. 0 Sacks from the Miami Sack Machine, Grimes misses an interception which was a game changer.

- Offense - Lamar Miller is not a power back; Philbin should have recognized this and addressed this in free agency after Ajai was placed on IR.

- Penalties - These were a major factor in the loss and I always say these are attributable to the Coaches.

I am very worried at this point in the season. The good was that we were in the game until the almost sack in the end zone. Taking a deep breath and waiting to see what adjustments are made for the game next week.

FA's. If you want to win, u gotta replace Albert and Thomas at LT and LG now. There are plenty of guys on the FA list to choose from. Tannehill is a good QB, but the left side of his line is failing. As for defense, maybe look at a Safety or CB in FA's

Name one FA left tackle who's better than Albert.

doesnt need to be better than albert, needs to be better than fox or what ever scrub the fins are forced to put in when albert gets hurt again next game...

Juwuan killed us . Three penalties is unacceptable.

Not saving a time out at the end of half to run the clock and set up the kick was boneheaded.

Lazor again facked up with a delay of game penalty like last week. Philbin was fuming. I dont know where Lazor's head is, he appears overwhelmed on gamedays.

Philbin is finesse and likes finesse players. He doesn't want a power back. Also I rather have a scarecrow as Alberts backup. Would do better than Fox and Thomas.

Eugene Monroe was the best tackle available during that free agency. And he signed a deal worth...what, 8 million less?

Jared Veldheer was also a far better value. Not as good as Monroe or Albert, but quite a bit cheaper.

Obviously your talking about the present, in which we are decidedly ****ed. But we should hold Dennis Hickey and Joe Philbin(and possibly Dawn Aponte for that ****ing idiotic contract) responsible for screwing the pooch. Doesn't directly fix our line, but it means we might not make the same mistakes again. Also holding our front office and coaches responsible for their mistakes should send a positive message to the locker room. The players might actually start giving a ****.

It is hard to take this seriously when you do not realize that the worst performance by a starter on the oline was J. James. It was the worst by a large margin.

This statement is not limited to backs. He likes "finesse" linemen as well.

Lazor is creative and smart, but he is still growing into the OC role. Philbin does not seem to be able to help his coordinators improve on their weaknesses. I still cannot believe that Lazor did not call plays to pick on the practice squad player.

I do not believe this is the problem, but there are definite problems with the coaching staff's management of the players, the game planning, and the game adjustments.

awful slow start once again. Defense just was absent, everywhere, taking poor angles and not playing together. It starts from the defensive line... and Suh I noticed often more or less dancing with his feet, attempting to put pass rush moves on in wrong situations, early downs, running plays. But he followed up these msitakes with aggressive reads after, where he broke up the run well with the team (example the play where he got tweaked up a bit). but his play has been inconsistent in this aspect it seems. Mitchell payed a solid game, but having Wake not able to go all game for us really hurt, even though Fede payed solid for us.

ILB we know what to expect... but Jenkins had a slow start as well, not getting off blocks or hitting holes well at all. But he got himself going and started making some great plays, and filling into the backfield later on. Sheppard even made a nice play in backfield second half... but was himself otherwise rest of game. Where is the defensive consistency??? we only can show up in the second half???

Secondary played well I thought, but with no pressure on bortles who can throw a deep ball, we got eaten up by Robinson who made nice athletic catches over our smaller CBs. Grimes slipped a bit on one, but basically coverage was there, and McCain was there too but just isnt tall enough to go up and make a play on the ball. Aikens in the open field bit so hard on Robinson's double move for that huge TD though. Otherwise secondary played well, but no pressure once again on Bortles effected them poorly.

Offense... our line was awful. Even James had a poor poor game, Fox we know got destroyed, and Thomas was inconsistent again going from AWFUL to making some nice blocks. We seem not able to have an offensive line that can be consistently aggressive and locked in, more of less pass blocking seemed finesse too.

Now I am wondering if a lot of this is coming from the unaggressive running scheme recently too.... i was frustrated seeing us basically running out of the shot gun in an option read scheme, as well as short tosses. This isnt going to help the OLine got out and become aggressive, assertive early and often in the game. We were completely UNABLE to ru nthe ball at all. I was sick of seeing the shotgun read option..... line up under the center, and pound it out, get the offensive line assertive and aggressive together as a unit early and often. ASSERT yourself and push their D front backwards.

anyone elses thoughts????
