Does anyone know how DirecTV decides these things? Is it because both teams have been bad so far and only a few people will watch it? Is it because of the area I'm in (L.A.)? I called customer service and the dumb*** just said "It's not in HD." Well, no **** buddy. Why? Last weeks game was in HD. Maybe I'm being spoiled cause I still get to watch the game, but the HD makes a HUGE difference. I'm very dissapointed.

Well, CBS has less HD units then FOX so they cover less games in HD. They have to select the games that will have the highest audience.

It's not exactly an Earth shattering match up so I undertand CBS' decision to not HD the game.

No HD does suck but that is the price we pay for the team not coming close to meeting expectiations.

Give it some time though, I suspect by next year every game will be in HD.

Its not direct tv , Direct Tv gets their feed from cbs ,The problem is cbs they only provides three games on HD each week they usually put the best match ups usually the teams with the best records. From what I've heard is that thay dont have enough Hd cameras /equipment to provide more games in hd. I go to hdsportsguide.com to see which games are on hd each week praying that the dolphins have been chosen to be on hd. I've been suffering thru this for 3yrs now and still no upgrade by cbs .Unlike Fox which has all their games on HD. Bottom Line Cbs sucks for not having hd on all their games.

when you lose you are not on HD, i bet the pats are every week, so lets start winning

Thanks for all the info guys. CBS can suck me off. I guess they don't make enough money off the NFL to buy some new freakin cameras. Today is gonna be great. Go Phins!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just be happy you get to SEE the game

Problem is, I paid tons of money this season to watch the game at home in HD. Yeah, I feel bad for you guys who have to go out to a sports bar to watch the game (I used to have to do it, too), but there is always gonna be someplace showing all the NFL games within a 20 mile radius no matter where you live. So if you really want to SEE the game, you can.

Well its mainly Tennessee's fault. They suck so bad, whu would CBS put this game in HD?

Mulder's right ... the Tennessee game last week wasn't in HD, and they were playing the Chargers. I'd say no HD is more a result of the Titans being terrible, not Miami's record.

Yeah those non HD games are horrible...the picture is so bad...way worse than it used to be...I think there using all the bandwidth for the HD games.

Game wasn't in HD last week either. We just bought our first HD TV for this season and i've yet to see my Dolphins play with it.

Miami-Buffalo was in HD.

Did you have it tuned in to CBS' HD channel where you live? It's a different channel than the analog one in some places.
